Set off to Arkvas

I have food and a tent in the bag. Still have about 10 potions too,time to leave this place. This'll be the first time I'm going far from home. The anticipation and excitement is quite the experience to behold.

You leave from the south gate of Ostvale,there doesn't seem to be many people there.And the guards aren't very vigilant of their surroundings.

Not like it matters at this point,I have nothing planned against them.I'll leave without causing any problems.

The path outside the city heading south is a pathway with grass outside of it. About big enough for 2 carriages side by side. There are some trees and a forest ahead. You reach the outskirts of the forest after a little bit of time and get inside.

You continue strolling through the path under the trees covering you from sunlight. It's not too dark and gives you a fresh and comfortable feeling. You could hear birds chirping in above the trees.

Some time later you notice the sun right above your head,despite the trees covering most of the sunlight. Suddenly you hear rustling sounds from the bushes. You immediately pull out your sword and start becoming more wary of your surroundings. Two goblins with green skin emerge from the bushes,wearing nothing but loincloths with wooden clubs and immediately spot you.They start talking gibberish in their own language to each other,very visibly excited. I think I know why that is.

I can understand their excitement after seeing a human woman by herself in a forest. But they're too careless.you immediately dash to the goblins and slash downwards. The sword lands right into the first goblin's face,it screams in pain as it bleeds. The other goblin was surprised by your speed and is trying to run away in panic.You pull your sword from the first goblin's head,causing it's brain matter to spill out and chase after the fleeing one.

After killing the other one you shake off your sword to rid it of the blood. Their bloods smells disgusting,no wonder there's so many goblin quests still on the board.Nobody wants to deal with them.

On your way you found several more of the green annoyances and kill them without problems. Do they have a nest inside this forest? Well it's none of my business,looking for their nest in this whole forest would be too hard. Not worth the time.

You start seeing the end of the forest and see that the sun is going down. Well,I should start looking for a place to set the tent. Travelling in the night isn't a good idea. Putting some distance between the campsite and the forest would be good too. After finding a place for the tent you set it up,set up campfire and eat dry bread you bought earlier in the day.

I have no way to prevent monsters from coming to this camp when I sleep though.I'll just have to bet on my luck not to get killed in my sleep. Getting a body in the middle of the road won't be easy.
