What happens next?

Buffy attacks

Wait a minute, thought Buffy. Why am I cowering from Ms. Post? I've defeated vampires and witches and all sorts of supernatural creatures. What am I doing cowering from a mere human?She should be afraid of me.

"What's the point of killing me?" said Buffy as she stood up and bared her nakedness in the direction of Ms. Post. "I'm already dead, remember?"

"Just because you're dead doesn't mean you can't feel pain in the afterlife," said Ms. Post. "And anyway, you just saw what happened to Drusilla."

"But she was a vampire," said Buffy. "I am a human. Something tells me I'm not going to turn into dust just because you try to hit me with a pointed stick."

"I'd like to test that theory if you don't mind," said Ms. Post.

Then she lashed out with her stake.

But Buffy nimbly avoided it.

And instead running away from Ms. Post, Buffy then proceeded to punch her in the face. Repeatedly. Until finally Ms. Post dropped her stake.

"Had enough?" asked Buffy.

Ms. Post glared at her with blackened eyes. "You haven't won yet."

"Haven't won?" said Buffy. "You have only one arm and you just dropped your own weapon. You obviously couldn't beat me on your best day ever -- which is not today."

"Just because I dropped my stake doesn't mean I have no more weapons," said Ms. Post.

But before Buffy could ask Ms. Post what she meant by that, a feminine voice behind Buffy said, "I'm sorry, but is this a private dance? Or can anyone join in?"

Ms. Post smiled at the person behind Buffy. "Welcome to the dance, Darla. Please enter freely and of your own free will."
