Now what?

Gwendolyn Post and Drusilla have a brief chat

"You used to be a Watcher?" asked Drusilla.

"Yes, I was," said the one-armed woman who called herself Gwendolyn Post. "At least I was until Ms. Summers here **** me to -- ahem -- 'retire'."

"How did she do that?" asked Drusilla.

Then the penny dropped. "Oh, right. Buffy killed you."

Drusilla turned to Buffy. "So the rumors Spike and I heard were true. You did kill a Watcher. I always knew there was something I liked about you."

"Well, I actually did not kill a Watcher," said Buffy. "I just cut her arm off. And anyway, I must point out that she was an Evil Watcher."

"And?" asked Drusilla.

"She was going to take over the world with a magic glove."

Drusilla just stared at her.

"Which killed people."

"I still don't see the problem," said Drusilla. "Just her being a Watcher would have been enough for me. So tell me, whatever happened to this magic glove?"

"Angel disposed of it," said Buffy.

"Oh, he would," said Drusilla, rolling her eyes.

Then she turned to Ms. Post. "So why are you here?"

"I owe Buffy a debt."

"If that means what I think it means, you're going to have to go through me first," said Drusilla with an unpleasant smile.

"Even if I have backup?"asked Ms. Post

"What backup?" asked Drusilla, turning away from Ms. Post for a second, only to turn back in time to see Ms. Post stab her with a wooden stake.

Within an instant, Drusilla turned to dust and Ms. Post just stood there and smiled. "I was a bit surprised to see her fall for that old trick but then poor Drusilla -- as clever as she was -- was never the sharpest knife in the drawer."
