A swing and a miss

You're supposed to think of a place to be, but you can't exactly focus. One part of your brain is too busy grunting happily at all the perverted possibilities, while your more rational and pessimistic side is trying to work through these events logically. Were you **** somehow? Hallucinogens? That must be it, right? There's just no other explanation...

...Or is there? Could all of this alternate dimension stuff be real? Ugh... Just thinking about it makes my head hurt.

The only place you want to be now is back home, in the comfort of your one-room apartment. Your fridge stocked with your favorite snacks, your TV, your custom-built computer... Yeah, home sounds beyond perfect right about now.

With the image of your comfortable apartment and soft bed clear in your mind, you look to Charles and nod.

"Got a place in mind, have you? Alright then, I'll be opening the door now. The light's gonna be a bit blinding at first, but just will yourself to walk on through, understand?"

You give him another nod as he grasps the silver handle and pulls back, slowly swinging the massive door open. It creaks as a powerful light escapes from its depths, engulfing the area and cutting your vision off entirely.

"Remember, lad," you hear Charles speak up as you close your eyes in the shower of light. "Don't overthink things. It's that simple, you hear?"

Unable to see anything of your surroundings, you take a step forward and begin walking towards the light...

The first thing you notice when you wake up is that there are two warm bodies next to you, one under each arm. The next thing you notice is that you're completely naked, and they are too. This is a little unusual, as you can't remember the last time you had someone over, let alone shared a bed with them... And now here you are with two.

Since they're apparently still asleep and hidden under the covers, you look over your surroundings. A quick scan of the room confirms that this is in fact your apartment in the city, but it's a little different from what you remember. The room is much cleaner than usual, and there’s an extra dresser against the wall.

Once you're finished scanning the room, you suddenly get the urge to do... Something. There's something that you're supposed to do once you're awake, but you can't remember what that is. There's a certain itching at the base of your skull, and you free your hand from under the person to your right to scratch it. As you lower the hand back down, you notice a set of white tally marks on the inside of your forearm. At least, you think they're tally-marks... They aren't grouped, just a series of white slashes perpendicular to your bone.

You're interrupted from your inspection by an alarm going off on your left side. Both of the bodies lying with you groan and shift, and an arm stretches out from under the covers to a phone that's resting on your nightstand. Once the annoyance has been removed, both bodies individually roll off the bed and start stretching. You had some suspicions as to their identity, but you're still plenty surprised when you find out who's sharing the bed with you: your older sisters, Julia and Ali. Both seem oblivious to you, walking into the attached bathroom to start their day.

This is going to take some processing... But you still have the feeling like you're forgetting something.

Damn, that itch is back!
