This Night Ivy and Bruce meet in their Dreams. But what are Dreams? Maybe the Dream of a Werewolf is more than only a mere Dream.

Chapter 45 by Colleem Colleem

When Bruce woke up, he felt kind of weird. Awake but not awake. Besides, it didn't smell like his home. He didn't fully remember what happened last night... Or where he was now. Drunk asleep, he opened his eyes and saw himself again in a place unknown to him. It looked like a tropical rainforest... or a very dense untouched forest. By no means a forest as it still existed in the immediate vicinity of Gotham. With one sentence he was on his feet and his drowsiness had evaporated. He grabbed his belt just to realize he didn't have his suit or other equipment with him. He was just wearing simple pants and a shirt, like in his office. However, he was wearing neither socks nor shoes. He felt the cool moss under his feet and looked around. This forest was wrong. In more than one way of looking at it, because there were no animal voices. No birds or other sounds that were normal in a forest. A glance upwards even made him doubt whether he was on earth or not. Because where the blue sky should have been there was a whirling maelstrom of colors. It looked like a northern light only that it covered the whole sky. Through the tops of the trees he could see it clearly. Hastily he looked around and found a tree to climb up. To his surprise, he literally shot up the tree like a squirrel and his hands clawed into the hard bark. With a force that was uncanny he pushed himself off again and again and flew the tree almost upwards. When he arrived in the foliage he could see the area relatively far. Far on the horizon he could see a mountain that drilled itself almost endlessly into the sky. In another direction, a mighty desert bordering the forest was like a ruler. In the next direction there was a huge sea and finally in the last direction there was an endless forest, which however began to turn red on the horizon and spread like wildfire. Confused, Bruce jumped down the tree. It wasn't until he hit the ground that he fell to the fact that he had just jumped down a 40-metre tree without thinking. Confused, he watched as the leaves of the trees changed from a lush green to a breathtaking red and the seasons here changed in no time at all.

"An eternal cycle." He heard a familiar voice behind him. However, not necessarily positively familiar.

"Where am I Ivy?" He asked as he turned around and saw Stand Ivy. Her skin had become noticeably lighter and seemed to have adapted to the changing seasons. Her hair literally glowed in a red that looked like the rising sun only to change to a chestnut brown that reminded of withered leaves. She wore a kind of leather suit that almost reminded a little of an Indian, maybe more of an Indian woman who had decided to use her racy body as a weapon. The short skirt revealed her endless legs, the high moccasins emphasized the feet that stood in high heels as safely in nature as on a red carpet in Hollywood. The top was a complicated lacing that could hardly tame the huge breasts.

"Now don't look so Bruce." Grinned her gently and made a pirouette. "And to return to your question. We are in the Umbra."

"Umbra?" He asked and looked around, "This doesn't look like one of your usual woods!"

"That's not my favorite either. We're just guests here. "I shall lead thee in thy path."

"Can you be a little more specific?" He asked and turned back to Ivy but she had overcome the distance in a heartbeat and gently embraced him to kiss him. Returning the kiss, the two stood in the clearing while changing around them from winter to summer and from summer to autumn just to sink back into the snow.

"Bruce Wayne is curious?!" She finally giggled and then slipped away from his hands. "You turned me!" She smiled.

"Am I dreaming?" He now asked in complete confusion.

"Life is a dream. This is the umber. Come on, Bruce. Let me teach you and protect you." She smiled gently and took his hand and pulled him in a direction that was probably only known to her.

"You said that already. But what do you think? Transformed? Umbra? Explain yourself! IMMEDIATELY!" He took it and the last word thundered through the forest. He could see Ivy shuddering with relish and her eyes closing audibly groaning before she turned to him and looked at him submissively. At that moment she looked almost like an animal that had submitted to the alpha of the pack.

"As you wish Bruce! Do you remember our night in your bed?" She breathed aroused and her nipples became clearly visible under her robe. "That night you changed me. You gave me back something I thought I lost. But... that wasn't all! Harley, my sweet little Harley, wore your mark! She gave it to me!"

"The... Werewolf?" Kidnapped it right off the bat.

"Oh. What a simple term... but yes... let's call it the bite of the moon. She passed it on to me and I'm ashamed to say it, but I was overwhelmed by the thrill. "I was a slave to my instincts and desires and passed on the gift indiscriminately."

"So it's come as Dracula said! I've become a threat."

"You are what you should always be, Bruce. But what your future will bring depends on you. You woke me up from my slumber and now I understand so much more. I have been chosen to lead you."

He shook briefly as he was overpowered by images. Pictures of a giant red wolf. Of pain... Of wildness....The pictures rest through his mind and change... They have been replaced by another ferocity. A wildness of flesh and lust. He saw this wolf in front of him... on all fours... subjugated... devotedly..... giving a yelp... moaning.

Blurred he saw Ivy looking at him but not at him. Her eyes were on his pants. When he followed her gaze he saw that the clothes he had been wearing were gone. But what stood between his legs was by no means his best piece. It was almost huge and dark. It was the excited tail of a werewolf sticking out between its legs and almost acting like a third leg. This belt looked completely unnatural on his human body, yet Ivy could not take her eyes off him. Licking their blood-red lips, their eyes glided along him and then distorted. Seeing her like that only made him harder but he fought down this urge and realized that he could shape reality in this crazy dream. In one second his appearance had changed and he stood in his suit in front of her... But it took Ivy a little while to calm down and let his finger slide over his shirt with a smile.

"Don't get your hopes up, my beautiful wolf! At this moment you are completely filling me in the world we call reality! You are in me and my body welcomes you! As soon as we wake up you will be inside me and I will enjoy it! But now come! There's a lot you need to see!"

"Well... there are worse things than that! After all, I'm immune to your toxins!" Bruce and Ivy pondered and laughed.

"No. You're not!"

"What?" Kidnapped it, Bruce, and she smiled at him as she walked.

"My body is as deadly as ever..... perhaps even more deadly than before... but your body is able to overcome it. Not by immunity, but by making your body constantly heal the injuries I inflict on it. Don't ever mix it up!" She said admonishingly. "There are substances that can make you suffer."

"Is there a cure?"

"Why do you want to cure something that's not a disease, Bruce?" she asked him calmly and stopped at a suddenly appearing edge of the forest. "I'm not here to bring you salvation, Bruce. The umbra has waited for you many tides."

"Oh, it did?" he asked sarcastically but the beautiful, tender woman caught such a blow that he cut through two trees.

"Beware Bruce. This is the Umbra. My powers are a hundred times greater than yours here! You're here to learn, not to make silly remarks!"

Bruce slowly got up again and rubbed his chest, which strangely enough really hurt. But he had slowly understood that maybe this was not a dream and his mind began to accept the possibility that he was really here. What did he know about the werewolf's disease?

"Very well. Well, I'd like to learn. Are you really the Ivy I know?"

She smiled at him and hugged him. "I am who I always was, but my path has changed. I can see it so clearly now! I can hear it... I can see it! I can feel it, Bruce! If only you could feel it! She breathed ecstatically and rubbed her gorgeous body on him before surrounding him. "The Umbra... is the one in between!"

"In between? Between what?" he asked and tried to follow her with his head. It almost looked like she was dancing around him, following a beat only she could hear. Apparently, part of Harley's insanity had passed to her. Great. A insane plant necromancer he thought to himself.

"The Umbra is the in-between... the place between what we call reality... and what lies beyond the Veil." She smiled and pointed behind him. As he turned there, he saw an all-distorting wall of energy... a whirling something that only revealed a veiling view of what was behind it. He went closer to that field and tried to lay his hand on it. When he tried that, the field waved away from him and revealed the normal forest. He tried again and again the field slipped away. He jumped at it surprisingly but he couldn't reach it.

Ivy watched him and smiled gently. "You cannot overcome the veil, Bruce. It's not our time... it's theirs." She said and pointed into the forest.

Bruce followed her hand but couldn't see. He realized that Ivy's eyes seemed to follow something but as hard as he tried. There was nothing there. No tracks in the forest, no rustling of leaves. Nothing.

"Ivy?" he asked and saw her flinching and looking at him.

"Forgive me... It's so beautiful! They seem so peaceful. If only you could see it. But now follow me, Bruce. Never leave the path. Or your fate will change," she smiled, but her gaze had become serious. And concerned.

As she left the forest, Bruce tried to follow her. But he couldn't see any path. All he had left was to follow her. The forest had magically disappeared and around her was only barren desert. And then he saw it. To his left he saw Gotham lying. The city seemed to be made of sand and yet it was his home. He lifted one foot to walk towards the city when he looked at Ivy. She had stopped and looked at him anxiously. Something about that look made him hesitate. He looked back to Gotham and the wind carried the cries of men to him. They screamed with fear and it sounded like young and old people. Men and women. Her screaming faded into a single sound that went through his bones as the sand city dissolved into a whirl and Bruce could see a wolf's mouth ripped open and swooping down on him.

Even the otherwise fearless Bruce Wayne retreated from this elemental force and fell at Ivy's feet. She couldn't see what Bruce saw, because it was his mind that formed this path. For Ivy, the umber was fundamentally different from his. She looked gently down to Bruce and could see the threads of life wandering around his body. He was different from the children she had created. He had been chosen by fate. Just like herself.

"What... what was that?" he asked trembling and fought down his fear as he got up.

"The beast." She said tense. "That which dwells in us all. in all that lives the beast lurks. People call it evil... the Lycans call it the Animal. It's why we can see the Umbra. But if you lose the umbra, you lose yourself."

Bruce thought about her words and also about what he himself had already found out. Even in his altered condition, he had avoided killing innocent people. But how could a wild monster distinguish between innocent and guilty? The wolves that Harley and Ivy had created were brutal killing machines. Had they moved away from the umber, as Ivy put it? What was the difference between arbitrary killing and targeted punishment?

"Why am I different Ivy?" He finally asked bluntly

"You're like him!" she smiled and Bruce could see a prehistoric fortress. It looked like it was built thousands of years ago. Surrounded by huge ramparts, it lay in the middle of the forest. As Ivy and Bruce walked through the desert to the fortress, Ivy began to stagger. Bruce had to support her and looked at her worriedly.

"The knowledge... it's so much. I can hear their voices! They are telling a story!"

"You? Who are they? What kind of story? Ivy! I need to know that! I need to know how to heal it!"

"They tell so fast... I can hear them but they talk confused... The moon! He'll show me... It's not a full moon yet! Soon I will understand. and then we will meet here again... and Bruce.... help me... I am lost... I must return to Umbra! Don't abandon me," she begged before Bruce felt the world begin to dissolve. He could feel him waking up. Hastily he looked at the fortress. Every battlement, everything could matter. But then his mind was distracted... between his legs... he felt... overflowing from the real world... something felt good. Hot... damp... It massaged his cock. It was tight! But it was good! SO GOOD!
