Science Department

The Chief Science Officer of the Potemkin, Lt. Commander Susan Wheeler, was a very pleasant older woman who made Deborah feel right at home. Deborah reported directly to her and technically was a section head, although she was a section of one. Deborah's duties would include assisting the communications department in establishing first contact as well as the engineering's computing division in creating and upgrading operating algorithms. Deborah was sitting at the desk of her small office when her first set of orders came over the computer.
