Bruce visits Zatanna for Help
Bruce couldn't believe what had just happened to him. As soon as Pamela was gone, he reached into a secret compartment in his cupboard and took out a hand scanner. The room was completely flooded with her pheromones and toxic substances. Especially his bed was from now on a toxic pit that would kill any living creature in seconds. This whole room here would be enough to destroy a pack of elephants at once. Whatever kept him alive, it was far too risky to leave this room as it was and even if he hadn't felt anything yet, it could still be that it would come. Before he could do anything, he had to destroy this room completely. Everything in this room could cause a fatal reaction to Alfred. But how would he explain that? He'd think about that later. Since he couldn't risk leaving the room before he had packed everything properly. So he started with the bed and stuffed it all in the closet. He tried to shake it up as little as possible so that the pheromones would not be stirred up. When he had finished it after several hours he took a bucket of gasoline from the garage and set fire to everything he had cleared together. The fire would destroy everything but he had to be very careful when he would turn on the jumping system so that the whole villa would not be torched. There you go again.
Right afterwards he went to the lab and took a blood sample and examined it. His system was also flooded with her toxins but something was strange. Actually, his anti-toxins, which he had injected before the visit to Ivy garden house, had not been completely eliminated. Normally even his strongest anti-toxins worked against Ivy for only a few hours, but these here had connected with his white blood cells. He remembered that the doctors at Watchtower had found out that his white blood cells were elevated at the moment. Sitting on his chair, Bruce wondered what that could mean. He had had to inject himself for years to survive against Ivy or the Joker. All these injections had made his body naturally resistant. So far he had not discovered anything that would really help against Ivy in the long run.
But what had happened to her anyway. She had always been a seductress but since the accident that turned her into Poison Ivy in the first place she had been unable to make physical contact. He himself was very abstinent but from time to time he had his fun with Talia or Selina. He could not imagine what it must have been like not to be able to live out a fundamental urge of mankind for years. When she was lying in his bed this morning, there wasn't much of the murderous plant lover left. But could he risk endangering everyone around him? It wasn't sure if his immunity would last. Ivy had a terrible talent to develop her body. And how would he explain that to the others? That he had slept with Harley was one thing.... that he had now also slept with Ivy was harder to explain. Especially the fact that he was still alive and master of his senses. He had to admit that Ivy was a more seductive woman but it wasn't difficult for him to focus on other things at the moment. That was a good sign. Most of the victims you've been exposed to for too long lived only for Ivy. If they even realized they were alive.
Thoughtfully he sat there and did not even notice how Alfred had approached from behind.
" You haven't had such a hot night in a long time, sir!" he grinned and referred to the torched room.
"Yes, Alfred. It was a little hotter than I expected. However, I think I will refrain from repeating this adventure here at the villa."
"Aha?" asked Alfred curiously but got no more answer.
"Is my car ready, Alfred? It's time I met with Zatanna. Before I do anything else, I need to figure out what happened to Dr. Mendez. Will you put together a dossier on the young lady, please? Maybe we'll find out what happened to her by checking the places she went."
"As you wish, sir." Alfred nodded and watched Bruce move away. Shortly afterwards he drove off the property in his Lamborghini. As Bruce drove through the city, his thoughts kept slipping to other things. Why had he always been attracted to bad girls. Not only had his life revolved around Joker for many years, but his love life was also dominated by rogues. At first it had been Selina, even if she wasn't necessarily an absolute villain. Then there was his relationship with Talia. Although her father was obsessed with pushing through his dark goals, his daughter was different. Now there was Harley and Ivy. And in both cases he could hardly remember how it had come about. In Ivy's case, at least the alarm system had recorded how she broke into his room. She had checkmated most of his system with her strength, but some cameras had still taken pictures. In other situations it would have been pretty hot porn.
But under these special circumstances, he should be worried. But what worried him even more was the fact what would happen if Selina learned of his adventures. Or worse. Talia. At least Zatanna wouldn't wring his neck. One of the very few women he could talk to. Since Babara was sitting in a wheelchair Oracle's life was reduced to the monitors. Besides, she was a little young to him. Zatanna wasn't that much older than Babara but thanks to her education she was more serious and calm in a pleasant way. So he would approach one problem at a time. I guess right now it was more important to take care of Dr. Mendez. Ivy and Harley were rather quiet at the moment and no real threat. Especially Harley was unpredictable without the Joker. Maybe she wouldn't do anything or do worse than ever.
When he stopped in front of the theater, he grinned. Even his parents had loved this theatre and had often been here when he was little. He himself had never met her father, but Zatanna had always proved to be an excellent source for everything supernatural. Inside, the usual people were keeping the theater in order, while the owner was probably in the theater's living quarters. The people were already used to the presence of the billionaire and so nobody bothered that the famous Bruce Wayne was here. Most people assumed they were having an affair anyway.
Zatanna was in her library and worked her way through the ancient tomes of her father and his predecessors. As her husband had requested, she had to find out if she would keep her magical powers if she were transformed. Knocking on her door tore her out of her studies. It had to be something important, as she had instructed everyone not to be disturbed.
When she entered her living room she saw Bruce kicking through the door and smiling. Bruce was one of her closest friends and exactly the man she would have loved to tell everything about her wedding right here and now. But her husband had asked her to keep it a secret. And his wish was your command.
"Hey, Bruce! How are you doing? We haven't seen each other in ages." Laughed her when she hugged him.
"How are you Zatanna? I actually wanted to visit you yesterday, but I still have bad memories of the last time I tried." Bruce and Zatanna smiled and went to the little minibar.
"Well. Be glad I didn't fancy pork or an apple at the time." She grinned and waved a scotch bottle. When Bruce nodded, she handed a glass. "Well, my good. What do you need help with this time?"
"What makes you think I need help?" Bruce laughed.
"You only come to see me if you want something. Never an invitation to coffee or your own plane before!"
"Plane?" Bruce asked confused.
"Hey! You're a billionaire! I think you can give a friend a plane as a present! But I know you. When you come to me it is quite bad and mostly concerns the supernatural," she asked worriedly and sat down. Even though Dracula had mastered her mind, he had not forbidden her to help friends or change her character.
"You could say yes. "I had a little dance yesterday with a young lady."
"Selina or Talia?" Zatanna asked sniffily and grinned.
"Neither. They wouldn't have hurt me so bad. I'm talking about Dr. Mendez. Or the being who posed for Dr. Mendez or who used to be the good doctor."
Zatanna sipped on her glass and raised a brow. She knew about Bruce's fighting skills. And that he could take on beings that far exceeded the power of a human being. So his statement sounded all the more worrying. She herself had noticed that Gotham had become calmer than the Joker had been killed. Even the winds of magic had calmed down a bit, but for some time the dark figures had been acting more openly again.
"I'm all ears, Bruce. I'll help you out when I know what it's about."
"Well, Zatanna. Have you ever heard of vampires?" Bruce asked and bent over. His chin rested on his fingers and he closed his eyes thoughtfully. Thus he escaped how the eyes of Zatanna became blank for a second.
"Vampires?" she breathed, and as hard as it was for her. She had to lie to her old friend. "Do you mean more of a Bram Stoker version now or are you more of a fan of Twilight?"
"Neither. I mean real vampires. Is there such a thing," Bruce asked seriously and Zatanna played him a serious face.
"I must disappoint you, Bruce. I've never heard of vampires. I mean outside of books and movies. I'd really like to help you." Sighed and hoped she could lie to the master detective. However, he should have no suspicion of her. On the other hand, Bruce was always suspicious. Against everyone.
"Are you sure about that or are you just guessing?" Bruce asked for sure and Zatanna knew it wouldn't be easy to fool him. But to prove how faithful she was to her husband, she would do whatever it took. And she still had her magic. Even though his willpower was enormous, he could not resist the magic. Especially if she could do the magic without him knowing.
"I'd like to confess that I'm guessing sooner at the moment. What do you say we take a look at the library? Maybe we'll find something. As you know, I haven't had a chance to read it all. But." She threateningly lifted two fingers. "One, you're gonna get me a coffee from the kitchen! Two, don't you read books I won't allow you to read. Some of them are quite dangerous when read by laymen. And this is my world. Not yours!"
Bruce nodded and walked towards the kitchen. This gave Zatanna enough time to make the books she had just studied disappear and to create an illusion about very specific books with a simple spell. That would prevent Bruce from reading the inscriptions right. So she waited until Bruce came into the room. She could tell from his look that he loved this room. Perhaps without the terrible incident in his youth he would have been a lover of such places. She was almost sorry to see him like that.
"Here I have the Libro Creaturae. It lists all the creatures we know. There may have been beings hiding from our eyes, but that is... rare. My father said that this book is all-encompassing." She said and started leafing through it. Thanks to their spell, all sides that contained the ancient horrors called vampires were veiled. Bruce looked curiously over her shoulder and in some of the pictures he wondered how such creatures could hide in today's world. On the other hand, he was glad not to be set on such a one.
When they were relatively finished and the creatures were almost through, he sighed. No mention of a vampire. Something bothered him. He couldn't put his finger on what it was, but something was wrong.
"Mhm. Maybe there are creatures with similar powers," he asked and leaned against the desk.
"So powers like super strength? Super speed? Super dexterity," she asked and Bruce fell for it.
"Exactly! Do you know something," he asked, not knowing how much she was pulling his leg.
"Sure I know them. Superman, Wonder Woman, Power Girl or the Martian Manhunter?" she laughed cheekily at him. Bruce's face was godlike. "„FUCK!? Where's my phone! I need the face as background" she laughed so hard that she almost slipped off the chair.
Bruce rolled her eyes, but was glad she didn't have her cell phone at hand. He should have known that Zatanna would set him up like that. He tried to put on a serious face but the laughing woman sitting on the floor in front of him was just too funny to be serious here.
"Are you ready, Zatanna?" he asked for some time and shook her hand to help her up. With tears in her eyes she stood up laughing at him.
"More or less." Nodded her and grinned at him.
"Good. Then we can go on. Somehow I have a strange feeling. Can we see through the Libro Creaturae again," he asked as he sat down and opened the book. Zatanna behind him was immediately alarmed. His instincts had immediately drawn his attention to the fact that something was wrong. His fine senses and instincts had immediately revealed to him that some pages were filled with magic.
Hastily she thought about what she should do now. Her magic was very powerful, but she had never tested it against such a strong spirit. Besides, part of her resisted cheating on her boyfriend like that. On the other hand, she had promised her husband and tried to keep that promise. Torn back and forth, she didn't know exactly what to do until she noticed Bruce leafing through a few pages. Exactly the pages that were filled with their magic. How did he do it? How the hell did he see through a spell she cast? Or hadn't figured him out yet. His expression was, as always, completely illegible.
"Do you have anything, Bruce?" she asked as a precaution, and he rubbed his chin before he answered.
"I don't know. Something's bothering me on this side." He said thoughtfully without looking up. He tried hard to find out exactly what irritated him. It was simply a combination of all senses. It felt wrong, smelled wrong, looked wrong and even turning it over sounded funny. And yet everything seemed normal. Or was he just a little over-excited?
But for Zatanna these words were a warning. And with an inner sigh she nodded. There was no other way. She wouldn't disappoint her husband. She had sworn to him to hide the knowledge of vampires. And in that case, that meant she had to distract Bruce. But that didn't mean she had to cause him pain or anything like that. She just had to take his mind off it.
"Eb yzarc tziba yn stit, eb ynroh no xes, leef ruoy kcoc worg. Ruoy tsul si evissecxe." Breathed it softly into his ear so he could feel her breath.
(Be crazy about my tits, be horny on sex, feel your cock grow. Your lust is excessive.)
Bruce looked over her shoulder and wanted to ask what she had said, but through his sitting position he stared directly at her breasts. Suddenly he couldn't see away. He never noticed how big and firm her breasts looked. He could feel his pants getting tight.
"Do you like what you see, Bruce?" she asked smiling and took both hands on the back of her neck to show off her tits even better. "I hope Diana's not mad that you visit me once in a while?"
While she said that, she stretched out her upper body a little so that Bruce had her tits right in front of his face.
"I wonder if she's jealous? Not that she thinks we do it here every now and then. At least there is the rumor that you two were more than just friends" she grinned and could see how good the magic worked on him and especially how little he seemed to defend himself against him. Slowly her hands moved along her neck to her tits and started massaging her. "Tell me something. She doesn't have to be jealous, does she? Or is it?"
“Maybe we should give her a Reason!” Bruce yelled as he ripped her Cloth away from her
