They Finish Off The Date And Head Back

Chloe power walked back to the table and instantly felt a sense of relief seeing neither Victoria or Gavin, she didn't think about it until now but trying to explain where she and Zack were would have been difficult. She sat back down in her seat and quickly picked up her glass of water taking a gulp to calm her nerves and wet her dry mouth, "I don't know if I'm gonna kiss or kick Zack later," She muttered to herself while shaking her head. Chloe, despite what happened in the arcade, could hardly believe she let Zack do that.

Suddenly Gavin walked past her and sat down in his seat shaking Chloe out of her thoughts instantly, "Sorry about that, every time theirs a problem with the wifi dad can't figure out he calls me. It's like he thinks I'm tech support," Gavin joked causing Chloe to let out a short laugh, "Where's Zack?"

"Oh, after you left he went to use the bathroom," Chloe replied with a little smile, "Should be back any second," Gavin's heart started to beat a little quicker, he prayed that Zack hadn't heard anything while he and Vicky were going at it. "Yep, I just got to sat in silence, soooo much fun,"

Gavin gulped before forcing out a chuckle, "Yeah, well, sorry about that Chloe,"

Meanwhile, Zack and Victoria walked out of the bathroom at the same time, "Oh, fancy meeting you here," Victoria giggled as she looked at Zack a bit wide-eyed,

Zack smiled back, feeling a rush of heat on his face, it didn't really occur to him that Victoria could have heard Chloe's screams of pleasure, "Small world, right?"

"I guess so," Victoria agreed before letting out a laugh while watching the still Zack, "Are we gonna stand at the bathrooms or are we getting back to our dates?"

"Oh, right," Zack quickly nodded while walking back towards their table with Victoria in tow, "Hey, sorry about that,"

"Thank god, I thought I'd have to call someone soon," Chloe joked while Zack sat down, "Don't ever make me wait that long again, Bishop,"

Zack rolled his eyes at the sound of Chloe's pretend firm voice, "Yes ma'am, I'm so sorry," Zack sarcastically replied as Victoria took a seat next to Gavin,

"I think I got my makeup fixed, what do you think?" Victoria asked with a quick glance to Gavin,

Gavin's brow slightly raised as Victoria had indeed fixed her makeup in the short time, "Oh, um, pretty as ever, Vicky,"

"Excellent," Victoria hummed back while picking up her water, taking a small sip, "Man I'm hungry, I feel like I worked up an appetite just shopping today," She giggled,

"Well I grabbed a snack at the arcade, so I'm not starving," Chloe smoothly replied causing Zack to divert his gaze from Gavin and Victoria instantly, his hand moved to Chloe's leg, squeezing it tightly trying to make her stop.

"Does the arcade have snacks? I don't remember ever seeing any," Gavin said with a slightly confused look,

"Zack got it for me," Chloe chimed back, "It was one of my favorites too," Zack looked over and gave a fake smile, though his eyes seemed pleading at this point. Oh, you think that you were just gonna get away with that? Sweat a little Bishop, you've earned it. Chloe thought to herself.

Before Chloe could continue the waitress walked back over, food in hand, "Wow that was quick," Gavin mumbled out,

"Guess you were taking longer than you thought," Chloe pointed out as their food was placed in front them,

"Let's eat!" Victoria happily exclaimed,

"Sounds good to me," Zack agreed before stopping and glaring at Gavin, "But I swear to god if I see any "Lady and Tramp" Type shit I'm getting in my car and leaving,"

"You wouldn't leave me, would you?" Chloe asked looking hurt,

"Oh no, you'd be over my shoulder," Zack instantly replied with a grin causing Chloe to giggle,

"Wow, so it's all good for you two to act lovey dovey but not us?" Victoria asked with a raised brow, "Talk about double standards,"

"It's cute when we do it," Zack replied with a shrug,

Victoria let out a little gasp while smiling slightly, "Gavin, did you hear that?"

"Zack, I don't want to fight you, but I may have to," Gavin jokingly sighed, "All she has to do is say the word,"

Zack chuckled and raised his bandaged hand, "Well, with my hand like this you may actually stand a chance bud."

The four all let out a small laugh and began to eat their late lunch. Chloe picked at Zack's fries, letting him take the whole burger while Victoria and Gavin, both obviously very hungry, devoured their meal together. Once they all finished, Gavin and Zack split the bill between each other, despite Chloe's protests of pitching in for payment, which Victoria did agree to do as well. Once all was said and done the four walked out of the restaurant and sighed, "Alright...what now?" Gavin sighed while looking over at Zack,

"Now..." Zack replied while checking his watch, "Now we should probably head back, it's gonna be a long drive with the traffic, and it's already two-thirty,"

Chloe felt a little ping of fear in her chest return, but she quickly tried to shake it off, "Wait, did anyone talk to Lisa about her cabin today?" Victoria asked while the four started to walk towards the parking lot,

"I did, I asked her to text me if her dad got back to her," Zack replied as he pulled out his phone again,

"Did she?" Chloe lowly asked, praying she did,

Zack scrolled through his phone, "Fuck," He said under his breath, "No, she didn't,"

"Crap, does that mean we all have to stay at Heather's cabin again?" Gavin grumbled out while Chloe pursed her lips,

"Maybe Lisa just forgot to text Zack, let's drive back and ask first," Victoria pointed out,

"Yeah, Vicky's right," Chloe agreed, trying to ignore the feeling in her stomach that made it become a just a pit,

"Right, I suppose she could have forgotten," Gavin agreed, "I mean who knows what Madison, Brandon, and Lisa got up to today,"

"Heather and Kurt too, right?" Victoria asked with a slightly perplexed look,

"No, Brandon was telling Gavin and me while we were waiting, Heather drove Kurt to the hospital to get checked out," Zack lowly replied, his eye twitching ever so slightly even thinking about Heather's blonde haired cousin,

"Well, then that's good, maybe Kurt isn't even there anymore. And if he's not than Ashley and Kurt would be gone, that's gotta feel good for you two, right?" Victoria asked again causing Zack and Chloe to nod reluctantly,

"Regardless, we'll still have to go back there for tonight, so let's get to the car before rush hour starts," Zack replied while he felt Chloe's hand take hold of his, his heart sinking as he felt the heartwrenching change in Chloe's mood.
