"I'll put these in storage, go wash a bit before I catch up with you. You did very well, but you really stink right now!" said Anna, putting the discarded armor pieces in her inventory before going downstairs.

Sylvia and Cali were totally naked, and John joined them, pocketing his pair of boxers and boots. Vesta was only wearing her slime suit that she had under her armor during the raid. The thin surface of the body suit was still twitching and bubbling, John was afraid that it would soon dissolve itself.

The night had fallen on Arcadia while they were on their adventure, but between the moon and Vesta, it wasn't hard to see the way. As soon as they were in sight of the forest, they could also spot the golden ethereal light of the fountain between the trees. Each time that John visited the forest it was bigger and denser.

Throwing a look behind him, John noticed the pale silhouette of Anna, jogging to catch up with the group. She managed to get closer, but stopped a bit behind.

"Go on! To the bath yall! I will join you once you're cleaner!" she shouted to them from afar. John looked at his teammates and had to admit that it was true that all of them smelled like a mix of rotten flesh, food gone bad and burnt tires.

"Of course, your majesty!" he replied, bowing in an exaggerated manner.

"Hurry up and get clean, I wanna hug you!" she added.

Sylvia's skin was getting darker, getting a nice apple green hue. It was only now that John fully realized how much she must have been weakened by spending so much energy in a place where she could regain none. Her face was lighting and she was smiling, flowers were blooming on her head and the few leaves laced into her hair were straightening themselves. She was in the Glade, and if even John could feel the harmonious flow of energy around him, then it was a symphony for her. Near the pool of the fountain, she hit the floor with her staff. The weapon remained upright when she removed her hand and the exalted amber gem on the top of it began to absorb energy from its surroundings, regaining its golden glow.

Cali had lost no time and jumped into the pool, splashing water everywhere. She was busy washing the war paint from her face, it was apparently something that was tied to their adventure.

John picked up Vesta, carrying her in his arms as he entered the cool water-polo of the pool, soon followed by Sylvia who almost moaned when making contact with the sacred water. The cleansing effects of the water quickly removed the grime and the smell from the adventurers.

John got it out and put it next to him on the ground, taking a few seconds to breathe deeply. He might have been making progress in lasting longer, but Anna too had a bit more experience with her mouth than on their first but of fun in the infirmary.

The chest contained coins, lots of them! It was absolutely full of disks of gold, silver and copper marked with strange symbols on one face and an animal on the other. The eagle stamped gold coins were of identical size to the ones that John had received from the Order, weighing exactly one ounce of pure gold, worth almost 1300$. The wolf stamped silver coins were of the same size as the gold ones, weighing 0.6 ounces of silver for a value of 10$. The boar stamped coppers weighing only 0.46 onces of copper were worth only 0.10$.

This chest contained exactly 15000$ in the form of 4 gold coins, 930 silver coins and 5000 coppers. John was dumbfounded, this should weigh a lot! A quick bit of maths gave him a weight of 76 kg for the content of the chest.

Treasure chest: special item.
This enchanted chest can only contain currency, and displays the amount of each of them on the pannel inside of the lid. Only the owner or those authorized by them can open it. The content's weight is reduced by 50%

John opened the other chest and found it full of anvil stamped gold coins, hammer stamped silvers and axe stamped coppers, all of identical properties to the ones of the other chest, but bearing some dwarvish runes.

It contained exactly 10000$ in the form of 2 gold coins, 700 silvers and 4000 coppers, weight 70kg.

It was a bit strange to receive payment in this form rather than in cash, but it had some advantages too. It was very cool and made the dungeon the perfect video game inspired experience, John already had enough cash on hand not to have to spend these and the precious metals could be used as crafting materials too (something not true of dollar bills). Speaking of precious metals...

Piece of Dwarven machinery: broken item.
This is a piece of a broken Dwarven machine. Its original function is unknown but it will produce any effect on its own. It is made of Kazakbryn or War-gold, this very strong gold titanium alloy is a favorite of dwarves for its capacity to hold runes and enchantments while being sturdy enough to make armor out of it.

The broken piece could probably be melted or scrapped into a large ingot of the material. John had a few ideas for an interesting armor design, but he would have to build a forge first.

John could no longer ignore what was happening around him nor the attention of his girlfriend. It was more than what even an augmented human could endure. He tensed up and exploded, flooding Anna's mouth with his seed. His magic had made it something in high demand amongst those who tasted it and she lost no time to gobble it, licking him clean to avoid losing a drop of it.

The three books were very disparate. The first was another piece of an old mystery.

The second part of the relic that he had found in Sylvia's forest. As soon as he opened the book it disappeared, probably fusing with the first one, John doubted that there would be enough to identify it yet anyway. The second book was a Dwarven tome, John couldn't read what was inside of it, but Observe revealed the title to him.

The Art of Runesmithing: epic book
This tome contains the secrets of the Dwarven art of Runesmithing. It is written in the cant of the Runesmith guild.

And the last book was looking like an old and used paperback book. Some pages were folded, creased, torn or stained.

Wastelander architecture, building the after-apocalypse: rare book.
This manual contains a lot of plans and recipes to create tools and building from recycled materials and garbage.

"That could prove useful, even if it isn't the style that I want for this place on the long run," he admitted. He could build temporary structures from junk metal using this book and upgrade them later with real materials. Esthetics would have to cede priority to utility.

"So? Anything good?" she asked.

"No real useful items. But some money and a shit ton of materials. This is what I was looking for anyway. And we got lots of xp, everyone lvled at least once, twice for Vesta and me. We really should be going, we can get away with a couple of minutes, but not much more. You know that sometimes food can't wait too long once it's ready," he told her. She nodded and looked at the three girls still very busy in the fountain or around it. John put Vesta's suit on the ground near her and after waving goodbye to everyone (and refilling the timer for his Clone) the couple of naked lovers returned to the castle. They put on their school uniforms and took their bags before exiting near John's house by the portal that Anna had left.

John was looking for his keys in his inventory when the door opened in front of him.

"Hey, you two! Just in time, we were waiting for you on the hour." said a familiar voice.
