What's next?

The story they have all been waiting for

Everyone sat back down waiting for Chloe’s story to really unfold. Chloe began to speak, and everyone was drawn in by her voice as her story took on a life of its own, it was as if they were all there to witness the story she was going to tell.

Chloe was sad and confused, she had just witnessed Zack and Lisa fucking in his backyard from her bedroom window, and she couldn’t get the image out of her mind no matter how much she tried. Se tried and tried, she tried reading a book and going as extreme as frigging her self off, but no matter what she did, the image of Zack and Lisa was there as if permanently etched in her mind. Chloe didn’t know anyone who knew of her secret crush on Zack, due to her keeping it close to her chest, but seeing him fucking another woman made her want to go and do something, anything to make him jealous even though the odds were that he would never find out. Chloe had known that Lisa and Zack were probably physical, they had been dating for a while now, and two young virile teens like them would probably be fucking at the first opportunity that presented itself, but if she hadn’t seen what had just saw, she could’ve at least pretended it wasn’t happening. She could’ve pretended that she still had a chance with Zack.

Chloe tried one last time to clear her mind as the sun started to set, but to no avail. She had a major soccer game tomorrow, and all her friends would be there, she couldn’t afford to have a bad game thinking about Zack and Lisa. “Chloe honey! Dinner’s ready!” Chloe heard her mother call from downstairs.

“Coming ma!” Chloe called back down before letting out a deep sigh and heading down the stairs.

The Next Day (This is where Chloe’s story starts off)

Chloe got out of bed and for some reason she couldn’t explain looked back out the window at where she had seen the ‘incident’ the day before. She didn’t know why, to see if they were at it again? To see that no one was there? Chloe wasn’t sure. She put her soccer jersey on and headed down the stairs for some breakfast before letting her folks and her little sister know that she was going to head to the pitch early to warm up. The game wasn’t for another three hours at that point, but kicking soccer balls had a way of calming her down hardly anything else could. She arrived at the pitch just as the men’s soccer team was finishing up practice. “Hey McRose! Care to scrimmage a little with us?” The captain of the men’s soccer team, John, asked.

“Not at all John.” Chloe called back as she dropped her stuff off on the sidelines and jogged in to meet the boys who stuck around after practice. There were five boys, so she made an even six, as teams were made and three took each side. She knew some of the boys from watching them play during matches, and she knew others from being watched during her matches. As they played, Chloe realized just how good these guys were, she had to make sure not to get tired out before her match even started, so she didn’t play at 100% as she usually would’ve. The game came to a close, with Chloe’s team coming up short by two goals, a member of her team complained.

“Not fair! McRose wasn’t going 100%, how were we supposed to win three on two and a half?” He gasped out.

“Oh come on Neil, Chloe has a game herself soon, she can’t tire herself out too much or she’ll be a shell when her teammates really need her.” John came to her rescue. The boys started to clear out one by one until it was just Chloe, John and Neil left taking shots into an empty net.

“Thanks for sticking up for me by the way John.” Chloe said.

“Not to worry McRose! Don’t worry about Neil, he just doesn’t like to lose. Isn’t that right Neil!”

“Damn straight it is!” Neil said back making the three of them chuckle. “I didn’t mean any offence Chloe, you’re a b pretty good player you know?” Neil tried to make amends.

“You think so?” Chloe blushed uncomfortably.

“Don’t we ever, right John?” Neil said.

“Yeah, you’re pretty good out there Chloe. When we first saw you out there on the pitch, we thought you were a cheerleader, because of how pretty you are. Seeing you play though was a revelation.” John said. Are they flirting with me? Chloe asked herself.

“Well thank you boys.” Chloe said as charmingly as she could “but don’t you boys have somewhere to be?”

“You know what, you’re right McRose. We have to hit the showers, don’t we Neil?” John said.

“That’s right, it should be empty by now don’t you think?”

“I think it should.” John and Neil’s eyes were both lit up hopefully as they looked at Chloe.

“My friends don’t really like you guys you know?” Chloe said, not as a rejection, but as a point of fact.

“Yeah, well there is a rivalry between the basketball team and the soccer team, we’re just doing what we can to keep the tradition alive. We’re not bad people Chloe, far from it really.” John said as Neil nodded in agreement.

“You’re such naughty boys, fine. Let me inspect these showers, it seems I’ve worked up a sweat.” Chloe said causing the boys’ face to burst into radiant smiles. On the outside she was all confidence, but on the inside, her stomach was churning.

Shall we continue?
