The Tourney

Artur was deeply Concerned about the Fact that the Basilisk he killed may have eaten it's mother, and the fact it was a Silver Basilisk, an already endagered Subspecies, was twice as worrying, but today was a day for Joy and Entertainment and thus Artur put these thoughts away for now. Artur was saddened he wouldn't get a chance to fight in the Tourney, but this Tourney was in his Honor and it would have been just improper had he Entered it himself.

He sat with Anna-Henrietta when he heard a screech from above and looking up he saw A Pair of Griffin's. Promptly getting up and shrugging of his noble attire to reveal Cat School Armor and nodded to one of his men who through his Harness that held his Swords. He quickly drew his Silver Sword and rushed at the Female of the Pair.

He used Igni to set its Feathers Alight with his Advanced Skill in using Igni to shoot a stream or Sparkling Fire at an opponent, after having Used Aard to ground it. He Sliced open its Left wing and Stabbed a Dagger into its Rear Right Leg, ths Dagger was Coated in a Mixture of Poisons and Venom, from Beast's such as Manticore's, Vipers, Archespores, and Giant Centipedes. He had Spent a great many years perfecting his Alchemical and Potion-Making Skills, such was his skill he could use Viper and Manticore Venom, with Poison Spit from Archespores and Giant Centipedes. He often added these to his Blade Oils, just to add a little extra kick to his Already Highly effective Oils.

Now Viper and Manticore Venom were highly Poisonous and Archespores and Giant Centipedes were able to spit a Poisoned substance that weakened an opponent, Artur used these to his advantage, his Oils were Made in the Most Elite Classed Potion and alchemy making equipment avaliable. Compared to making it over a fire, this was all made in top quality equipment, so there was no comparison.

He knew it wouldn't be long before the Griffin became Sickly ill to such an extent that it would have trouble Seeing it's mate as just that, it's Mate. The beast was tiring as well, another side affect.
