"I would be honored to aid you in your destined way..." He went on with his wordfull declaration of servitute, but John didn't listen. Something triggered his immediate reaction. A pop up. After the last time he ignored them, he now had some sort of trauma that got triggered as he saw the new message pop up. And it wasn't only one that came up.

You can increase the bonus you gain from one of your contractors. The new strength you gain from it is dependant on the Level of the contractor, your Fighting Style Rank, as well as the level of the Contract Skill.

Note: The bonus from all contractors but the one you are taking over will become void until you deactivate this skill.

Note: This skill does not have a level and therefore is not improvable through modifiers and will not level up through usage or other gains of Skill XP

He put a mental note to check what powers he would get from which, if he kept the Take Over active for prolonged time. Then, just as he was about to hide the windows and play like nothing happened, John remembered that the contractors of his were able to see his character sheet.

"Well then, Ashthyn, let me welcome you to my world, yet again. Since I don't want you to run off instantly, claiming that your search for knowledge is completed, please let me examine what strenghth you hold, which I can gain."
And with that he opened the contract page to read the bonus he gained.

A short whistle later he looked up at him again. "You were not incorrect with your first statement. You are certainly not a warrior. But you have great magical qualities." He kept the exact details to himself what he gave him.

As long as Ashthyn was a contractor of his, his mana regeneration just recieved a major boost.

"However," John continued his monologue, "the world you are seeing around you is not as you might expect it to be. You will find machines moving by themselfes, loud noises from everywhere or even worse at a frequent basis. But do not worry, for I will teach you the meaning behind all of that in time. But be aware that one thing can not wait and must be upheld for the entire time of your stay." He made a dramatic pause at this point, noticing that Ashthyn looking around as if to scan for someone spying on them.

"You were lucky that I have found you, and not someone else of my folk, for most of them are not as kind as me. But even worse, it will be easy for every single one of my folk to distinguish you from us. We are able to feel your aura as being that of an elf. I can not guarantee for the reactions of my fellow humans, yet I know that they are likely to react with **** and imprisonment to a being, they can only consider a spy. So speak, my young pupil, do you know of a way to stay hidden from the public eye, while following me in the shadows?"
