Chapter 13

What's next, stud?
Achievements? Hell yeah.
John basked in the afterglow of his orgasm as the Nymph panted on top of him. A constant, soft dinging nagged at him. There was a miniature info box in the bottom left corner of his vision. He tapped it.
Achievement Summary: Past Two Hours
+1 Endurance
+10 Charisma
+4 Libido
+1000 Exp
+5 Stat points
- Mana calculation change
- Parkour Level 2: More complex maneuvers unlocked +1 passive agility
Total: 8 Achievements, 1 Skill level, 1 Gamer level
That info box was a rollercoaster from start to finish for John.
Two hours!? Ten Charisma? A thousand Experience Points?... ... ... Damn, I need to have sex more often!
He heard a ding from above his head.
The Gamer
(Level 23 Nymphomaniac)
Ha-ha, you got me there, Developer.
John had decided to call the **** that controlled his powers and the way he perceived the world The Developer last night while he was meditating. Another ding prompted John to look forward again.
Exit Instant Dungeon?
Accept Decline
John ignored it for now. He watched the Nymph sleep. He felt sort of attached to her, the woman(creature/monster?) who took his virginity. He didn’t even know her name. As he thought about these things, she stirred from her slumber. He took in her form. Her every curve, every mark on her skin, her smell. He memorized her, aware of the fact that she might awake to be his enemy.
She woke, stretching and yawning cutely. He took this chance to study her form more. She was truly a work of art. She turned to him and smiled.
Name and keep City Nymph?
She thinks she may have accidentally fallen in love with you.
Accept Decline
John stared at the info box, stunned. The Nymph pouted, puffing out her lips in the cutest way imaginable. John tapped accept with a smile and named her Omorfia. She squealed with excitement and clapped her hands, bouncing up and down in his lap. This understandably created a bit of a situation for John. But before he could act on it the dungeon exit message insisted he leave. John sighed and dismissed Omorfia as he put on his clothes and exited the dungeon.
John was inside the office of Firesmith Academy, enrolling himself. There was a sheet of paper with a list of available classes, and a blank schedule. Each day had four two-hour slots for classes. 8-10 a.m., 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., 12-2 p.m., and 2-4 p.m. The timeslots that included noon were designed to be lunch hours, so that students had a choice of when to eat lunch. John surveyed the class list. They were all magic related. Potions, Abjuration, Conjuration, Divination, Enchantment, Evocation, Illusion, Necromancy, and Transmutation. John chuckled.
These classes are basically D&D. Taking them all is optional? I would have done this anyways. Okay, focus. I want Conjuration every day. Don’t want Necromancy. Would Flames and Fireballs count as Transmutation or Evocation? Probably Evocation for Fireball, and Conjuration for flames. Conjuration every day, Evocation mon wed fri, Transmutation tues thurs. I don’t need Divination. Abjuration would help with Heal Summon, I think, so another mon wed fri. Enchantment would be interesting and probably useful too, so tues thurs. No potions. Not interested. Leaves me with Illusion. I still have five slots. Illusion every day? Why not?
“I can see you’re deep in thought choosing your core classes. I’ll just leave this list of electives here for when you’re ready.”
John was interrupted from his mental grumbling by the clear and friendly voice of the woman in charge of admissions.
“Oh, thanks.”
Those were just the core classes? What kind of electives do they have?
John looked over the elective sheet. Martial Arts, Culinary Arts, Archery, Dueling, Smithing, Beast Taming, Alchemy, Music, and Electronics.
This is by far the weirdest school I’ve ever been to. Putting that aside, Martial Arts would definitely help when I get stuck in Instant Dungeons. Culinary Arts, Music, and Electronics are a no go. Not my style. Dueling is too formal to be useful. That leaves Smithing, Beast Taming, Alchemy, and Archery. Which means, one every day. There, a full schedule.
John’s schedule looked a bit like this:

Optional Objective Complete:
+450 Exp
+Rare Item
Upon completion of Quest
John smiled.
“Ma’am? I’m finished choosing my schedule.”
The woman walked over with a welcoming smile.
“Okay dear, I’ll just finalize your enrollment. Oh my, aren’t we ambitious?”
She giggled a bit when she saw John’s full schedule.
“I wanted to make sure I took advantage of my scholarship.”
“I see that”
She walked over to a computer and typed away for a few minutes.
“All done! You start class next week. I look forward to seeing you excel in your studies.”
“Thank you.”
John left the building. “It’s early Tuesday afternoon. I don’t have class until next week. What should I do? I guess now I need to find a place to grind Fire Summon.”
John activated parkour and set off towards home, pondering his dilemma. He encountered no resistance on his journey home, something he was grateful for. His mom wasn’t home yet, since it was still early in the afternoon. John decided to try and grind at least one level out of fireball. He walked into the garage and summoned Ignis. It started chasing its tail, apparently sensing that it wasn’t in a battle situation. John decided a test of reflexes wouldn’t hurt. He summoned two fireballs and lobbed them at Ignis. Ignis stopped immediately and snapped both of them up, flames fanning out in miniature explosions. Ignis lowered itself into a ready position. John tossed a fireball about a foot above Ignis’s head, and another a bit to the right. Ignis caught them both, arcing majestically mid-air. John dropped into a crouch and cast flames in his left hand, firing an arc of flames across the floor, and shot a fireball that sped along behind the wave. Ignis jumped over the fiery wave and bit into the fireball. John cast another double fireball, this time throwing them far enough apart that Ignis wouldn’t be able to get them both. John didn’t think at all about what might happen if one of the fireballs hit something flammable in the garage. Ignis lunged for the fireball on the left, biting into it, and then turned mid-air to face the other one that was hopelessly out of reach. It opened its mouth as if to try to bite it, and a gout of flames erupted from its maw, engulfing John’s fireball and blowing it up. John wasn’t sure the Developer’s fire physics were too realistic, but he wasn’t complaining. Ignis landed on its paws with a triumphant howl, proud to have spat its first flame. John beamed at it. He beckoned Ignis over to him as he sat down cross legged. He pet it as he meditated to regain the mana he had spent. When he finished, he exited the garage. His mother was in the living room on the couch, watching a movie. She paused it when she heard the door close and looked at John questioningly.

What does she do?
