It doesn't matter

John shortly thought about her proposition. Granted, both options sounded really bad, at least if anything she said was true.

"So, just to sum this up. Either I end up in a **** chamber, where I can't use your powers, or I cut off our contract and let you go. In both cases, I can't use your power anymore, correct?" Layklé smiled brightly and nodded enthusiastic.

"Yup, guess I outsmarted you. But don't be angry, it is only natural to be inferior to a perfect being like me." Dear god she was praising herself. The only thing bigger than her ego must have been her will to ignore her own flaws.

John reached forward and grabbed her throat, **** her. With a new observe he opened her character sheet, so he could see her health in detail.

"If I can't have your powers, I have no need for you to stay alive, demon." He stated coldly and realization slowly crawled into Layklés eyes. Had she really not thought about this? It wasn't the first time he threatened to kill her, so how had this slipped her mind?

"Don't even try" she had a hard time pressing the words out of her sensitive throat, especially while it was being pressed together by him. "If you kill me now, you lose your last chance to ever proof it wasn't you who were at fault for this ****." John laughed.

"I see, now I suddenly have a chance of convincing these unbeatable hunters who were going to **** me forever. Only if you are alive of course. Let me tell you, this sounds less convincing by the second." She grabbed his arms, trying to free herself from him, but he was, as weird as it is, stronger than her. These succubi really don't do well in physical fights.

"Please, I can offer you..." umpf. He had not seen it coming but she used the distraction of her own words to pull herself off of Johns grip. Before he could reach for her again, she managed to slide away from him and buy herself some time. "To enjoy your time in a rotten cell, bitch!" She screamed while running away. He looked dumbstruck as she walked right on and then through his barrier. Shoot. To manipulate it, he had to touch it, and as she was closer she had left before he could catch her inside.

Not that it would be hard to catch her anyway. A woman, walking around in that outfit... Well, if those hunters really exist, they would probably also hear the rumors about her being on the school, and that would make the thing clearly a succubus kill. No need to worry about this. Still, a shame that she wouldn't cooperate. He was genuinly trying to power her up, even if it was for his own sake.

John left the barrier and destroyed it in the process. Apparently Layklé said the truth, at least in that regard, as she mentioned that the dead Frank would not appear if he did that. Neat way to get rid of things.

Now, the question remained, would he take any classes today, or just leave?
