Belle's reaction

Suddenly Belle’s face changes, tears fill her eyes. I reach over to try to comfort her.

"Belle, you're safe here...you will never be hurt while you stay here." I whisper with a reassuring tone as I slowly walk to her. "Belle, I'm not your enemy...I want to be your friend..if you'll let me. In fact, I love you Belle." I whisper to her as I look into her eyes.

"...what?..." She looks at me eyes as big as dinner plates.

"You heard me, I love you." I say as I gently wipe away a tear from her eye.

"Do you mean that?!" She pleads with me as she looks at me.

"Sure I do." I tell her with a smile. she grabs at me with desperation seeping into my shoulder holding me tight.
