She wants her shoe

A quick glance at herself revealed she had gotten extremely lucky, in that her missing flat was the only thing that had happened to her uniform. By some minor miracle, her bra and blouse were still intact, though she could swear her bra seemed a touch looser.

Shoes were part of the dress code, and the headmistress would crack down on that as hard as anything else, despite them being arguably the least important part of a uniform. Anna groaned as she dropped her right shoe into the grass again, sliding her foot into it, before trying to reach her other shoe, nearly invisible in the middle of the mud. With her feet on the edge of the mud puddle, she bent down, trying to reach her shoe, but her fingertips fell just short of hooking the toe of her shoe.

Anna groaned. She had nothing to extend her reach, and she didn't really want to get her foot muddy. Was her shoe really worth this? And if so, how does she get it?
