Chapter 5

Does Beca get to her dorm without being spotted?

No way - Aubrey finds her.

Beca had almost made it. She was _almost _at her room - when she turned the corner, and almost walked straight (hah) into someone.

After yelping in surprise, then covering herself as best she could - arm over her chest, palm over her crotch - Beca pushed herself against the wall, close as she could get without actually touching it.

"Oh, my God!"

Beca looked up, at the shocked expression. She recognised the woman now - she had been at the activities fair, with Chloe. Andrea? Audrey? Aubrey! That was it.

"You're naked."

Despite her nervousness, Beca couldn't help but snark, "Oh! Shocking, I hadn't noticed." There was a bitterness to her voice; unlike Chloe, Aubrey had been rather short with Beca. The other effect of that was that Beca felt less comfortable with Aubrey there. "So, if you'll just let me..." she tilted her head towards her room, "And I'll be on my way."

"Not until I get an explanation. What, is this some sort of - protest? Against society, or big clothing corporations? I know you're alternative," and Beca could taste the sarcasm dripping from the word like a melted lollipop, "But come on."

"I'm leaving," Beca said, starting to shuffle sideways.
