He quickly decided that with his powers there was no need to raise his Charisma stat. He had 2 points to level them, so he put both in Strength. Strength and Dexterity would be the only things he would level. He was not planning on fighting much anyway, but with these two stats high, he would always be able to catch and hold someone who tried to run away. Perception maybe too, for sneakers, but the rest, he was good with what he had right now.

Speaking of sneakers, while he was leveling up, Abigail was slowly moving away from him. She had apparantly hoped that he was done with her, as she only agreed to accompany him for the quest. Well she thought wrong. He smiled and with three fast steps he was next to her again.

"Excuse me, I am not quite done with you" He grabbed her hair and pulled her just into the next random house he was standing in front of. She screamed as it hurt her, but she quickly walked along with him. To his surprise it was completely empty. The reason popped up in an in game menu window.

"Buy or rent this place? Buy: 15.000 Cor - Rent: 100 Cor/Day"

A perfect opportunity. Does his powers work here too? Also what would happen if a normal person would cancel, like he just did, and then stayed in the house. He wouldn't find out soon, as either his earrings made him be accepted in here, or nobody just cared enough. Both worked fine with him.

"Abigail, please strip naked so we can talk." He smiled at this line he had used before in a game as a bad joke. Now he could really demand it. Without even hesitating she obeyed. "Oh? No more complaining? Don't you mind if I see your little cunt anymore?" He teased her. "What if somebody comes in? I didn't buy this place you know, it is open to everybody." She sighed.

"If someone comes in I am unlucky. I assumed you would hurt me again if I didn't do it, so I just did what you asked from me." He nodded. She clearly was not mindless or stupid, but just... altered in her reactions. And exactly that was it what he wanted to find out more about.

"Tell me, how would you describe my behaviour today? Oh and spread your legs some more and play with your tits." He had to admit that it was getting harder by the minute to focus on his thoughts with her in front of him, but he surely would not pass a chance like this. Now, first things first. He had to find out what exactly his power does. If he could figure that out, he probably could get the relation the programmer of the earrings used to implement the other powers. So his thoughts started to change. How would he have done it if he wanted to give somebody the powers he already witnessed.

Hm, no that wouldn't work. To get that answer, he would have to know what exactly his powers are, or he couldn't mentally reconstruct the code of them. Then another way: How does the plugin work in general. It overrides and expands the code of the game. Since that is a given, he should probably start there.

How does the game work? It changes all mental stimula into electric ones. By simulating the reality around the user, it stops the natural reaction the body would have and instead uses the system to instead let him have the reaction inside of the game instead. That means, there must be a program, which defines the reaction.

A Getter! That is it. Of course, it fits! A getReaction method. He already had it in front of his mental eyes. The method would usually be used to get the users reaction to a certain situation. The situation is simulated by the system, and the method would then use his real reaction to implement it in the system, too. However, the plugin must have changed that! That would explain all of it. The earrings changed the get-method so the system was told that all he did was okay, and therefor all the people around him, who also were connected and linked to the system, were told the same. It wasn't them who were manipulated. It was the game itself, that told them that his actions were normal.

Now that he figured that out, all that happened made sense. The game is making it impossible for players to react to what he is doing. They all react to his actions the same way, without actually considering the things he is doing. The reaction is a final value. That means he could pull a knife and kill somebody, and even while they would die, they would just be okay with it. Knowing this made a lot of tests he had still planned unneeded, as this explained it already.

The thing that stayed was, which other powers were related to this?

Well if there is a get method, there should be a set method, too. Right? RIGHT!?

But what could he set. The set method usually is used to define a value or an object to be the way the method is telling it to be. It usually gets implemented the same way as the get method, so it would only make sense for his powers to have both of them, too. Then what can he set? What can he change, and how.

He opened his eyes again and almost jumped in surprise, as Abigail was still in front of him. She also had closed her eyes and was now silently masturbating with one hand, while the other played with her tits. She obviously hadn't stopped to do as he told her just because he stopped watching. He smiled and let her go on while he did the same.

He opened the inventory and looked at the item the third time now.

Whatever he does will be accepted by others, he figured that one out already. There was no help in that one line, damn it. Well, back to testing. He had already tried giving orders before, but that failed. Maybe it was the same as with his first ability. It must be related to him. Also it must use the set method, so he has to define something. He assumed it was the reaction or behaviour of someone, as that is what is changed by his first power, too.

"Abigail, everytime I am 10 feet or closer to you, you will strip naked" this does fit the bill. It changes her behaviour and is related to him. She nodded.

"Okay." Damn. This was good but not really. He had no way of saying if she obeyed because that was his second power, or if she did it because she feared he would punish her if she didn't. Again.

"Abigail, I will not punish you in any way if you disobey my next commands." With that the situation was set for testing.

"Okay... Does that include me stripping naked?" Damn again! So it was only because of the punishment or she would have accepted it. Well now that he knew that it didn't work...

"No, you have to do that." He smiled at the thought already. "So now for the new ones. If someone is showing you their dick, you will always return the favour by masturbating in front of them!" Maybe this would work. If his first power forces them to react to him in a certain way, then maybe he can only set their reaction to other things. That would fit.

"No, you said you won't punish me if I refuse, so I won't do that." Or not. God fucking damn it. It couldn't be so hard to find out this power. Even worse, he still had one to go after this one.

Almost in despair he looked at the item again.

"By gods hairy dangling dick!" he shouted out loud. He had it. He finally saw it. His first power did not change a single person but the server. And now he was 100% sure, his second did too.
