“Ad astra per aspera!” Zack said to Heather.

“HUH?” Heather puzzled.

“Sorry. Couldn’t resist throwing some Latin at you. What I said was, ‘To the stars, through difficulties,’ meaning, turn around and I’ll teach you some of their names!” he chuckled.

“Really? I thought this was more Gavin’s thing than yours,” Heather responded.

“Nah, he’s more into sci-fi than into astronomy. Although, I’m sure he knows some of what you’re about to learn. Okay, at the moment, we are facing south. Behind us is north. To our left is east and west is to our right. Take a minute to look around. See anything familiar?”

“I thought YOU were teaching the lesson!” Heather mocked.

“I am, Baby. I just want to see what you know, first!” Zack laughed.

“Hmm? Well, I know that’s Orion, because of the three stars. And that’s the Big Dipper. And there’s the Squished W! That’s about it! Sorry!” Heather apologized by rubbing Zack’s cock through his shorts. “I’m MUCH better at anatomy!”

Zack grunted a bit then moved Heather’s hand away with a chuckle.

“Well, you know more than most already. That is Orion. We’ll talk about him in a few minutes. We’re gonna start off with the Big Dipper, or as they call it in England, the Great Plow. It’s actually part of a larger constellation call Ursae Majoris, the Great Bear. Starting at the spout is Dubhe, then Merak underneath it. Across from Merak, is Phad or Phecda. Where the handle meets the dipper is Megrez. Those four make up the cup. The handle is made up of from right to left: Alioth, Mizar and Alkaid. Now Mizar, the one in the middle, is a visual double star, meaning that two stars are visibly close together. The other star is called Alcor.” Zack instructed. “Have I lost you yet?”

Heather shook her head and recited the names of the stars exactly as Zack explained them.

“Okay, now onto Polaris,” Zack enthused.

“Polaris? Does that have anything to do with the North Pole?” the brunette questioned her “professor”.

“Yes. Polaris is the North Star. If you can find it, you know which way is north,” Zack told his girlfriend, who was clearly getting turned on by his intelligence.

“Okay, how do you find it?” she asked.

“It’s real simple. You remember Merak?”

“You mean that one, Baby!” Heather responded by pointing to the correct star.

“Yup! Well, you start there and draw a line through Dubhe and extend it north for about thirty degrees, you’ve found Polaris. Polaris, by the way, is the last star in the handle of the Little Dipper. Okay, onto Orion before he disappears!” Zack exclaimed.

“Disappears?” Heather asked.

“Yes. Orion is more of a winter constellation. In a few more weeks, we won’t be able to see him at all. Now, where we live, you can usually only see his body, but out here you can see his hands, his bow, and his sword. Now, the two main stars are Betelgeuse and Rigel. Betelgeuse is the bright one at his right shoulder. That star is near the end of its life and will go supernova in the next hundred thousand years. When that happens it will be so bright, whoever is living on earth then will be able to see it even when the sun is out. His head is Meissa, which we don’t really see by us. The left shoulder is Bellatrix, the Amazon star. Bellow her is Mintaka, which along with Alnilam and Alnitak make up Orion’s Belt. Rigel is his left foot and Saiph is his right. His sword is actually a nebula of new stars, stars that are still forming, and the gases that are erupting from them.”

“Wow! You are so smart, Baby!” Heather exclaimed before leaning in and kissed Zack passionately on the lips.

“Shall we continue?” Zack asked.

“No. If we don’t get in the tent right now, I’m going to throw you to the ground and take you right here!” growled Heather.
