Waking up the in the morning was surprisingly easy, might have been because I went to bed so early. It was strange to wake up feeling that refreshed with time to spare before the alarm went off.

Getting up I went over and picked out one of my clean winter school uniforms. Then I stopped halfway dressed and frowned at the uniform. There instead of the finished breakfast on the table Mom was still at the counter preparing it while Dad was at the table reading some documents.
