Batgirl chases Catwoman across the rooftops

Batgirl hurried across town. On her police scanner she'd picked up reports of an alarm going off at Hershmen's Jewelry. She swung on her batline, landing in a roll. She came out of her tumble running, quickly jumping to another roof. She landed surveying the roof of Hershmen's.

Batgirl saw a dark figure darting across the rooftop. They were clad in black skin tight leather, obviously feminine even from this distance. Catwoman! Batgirl felt her adrenaline kick up. Catwoman! Batgirl had always been jealous of Catwoman's obvious power over Batman. Batgirl desperately wanted Batman's attention and approval while Catwoman, a common thief, seemed to steal all his attention. She gritted her teeth. She had to take Catwoman down!

Batgirl launched a batline, swinging after Catwoman. She landed, sprinting after Catwoman. Catwoman looked over her shoulder. She saw Batgirl and her eyes widened. Then she smiled condescendingly. She took off, jumping, swinging with her whip, gracefully throwing herself to another rooftop. Batgirl, gritting her teeth angrily, threw herself in pursuit. She'd catch this thief! Unfortunately for Batgirl, Catwoman had a plan.
