A Surprise For Gavin

Uh hum Heather cleared her throat as Zack reached down and picked up the toast, tossing it into the waste basket without really ever taking his eyes off of Lisa and Gavin. Lisa finally broke the kiss and turned to face the group, both her and Gavin clearly blushing.

"I'm sorry," Lisa started, "I was just so excited after last night I kinda got lost in the moment."

"Last night?" Zack asked nervously.

"Yeah, I'm here with my family, ran into Gav and we started talking and reminiscing and the next thing I know the dog up and kisses me. But I kinda liked it and well... we decided to start seeing each other."

Gavin just stood silently, with an awkward smile.

"Wow, you go Gav!" Brandon blurted out as he entered the kitchen. He and Heather's eyes met then they quickly looked away. A moment that did not go unnoticed by Ashley.

"Uh well, why don't you join us for breakfast." Heather added.

"Thank you," she said, heading into the kitchen. "Gonna make me some toast Zack?"

Zack just stood there dumbfounded. Something that did not go unnoticed by Victoria.

"Uh, sure," Zack answered, grabbing a couple slices of bread from the bag, his own hunger forgotten.

"Hey, Gav my phone has been acting up, could you help me for a second?" Heather asked, heading away from the others, not really waiting for his answer.

"Uh, yeah."

When they were out of the view of the others, Heather laid into him.

"What the hell, Gavin. Why didn't you stop me this morning? I didn't know you you had a girlfriend."

"Neither did I."

"What?"

"She's making it up, acting. I guess to make Chloe jealous or something."

"Well she certainly made an impression, too bad Chloe wasn't here to see it." There eyes met in a mutually concerned look. "Next time give me a heads up. I felt like an asshole there for a few minutes."

"Sorry, I had no clue she was going to do that. I thought she was just coming over to give me advice or something."

"All right, I'll play along. You got two people helping you now." Heather looked Gavin up and down, smiling her seductive smile before heading back to the dining room. A look that most certainly did not go unnoticed by Gavin.

"Oh boy."
