Head left, deeper into the mining chamber

After a moment's deliberation, you turn and walk left, to try and discover what the trolls are digging up in this part of the caverns. You light some of the torches on the wall as you pass and pack away others, you don't know how deep or dark the going will get.

Eventually you come across a number of carts filled with ore. What kind of metal it is, you have no idea, but when you hold it up to the light it has a silvery sheen to it. You pocket two samples of it with a shrug.

Suddenly the sound of heavy footsteps comes from the direction you came from. Una immediately tugs you over to a pile of large stones past the carts that you both duck behind.

A pair of trolls come up and start dragging the carts back. You watch them until they are swallowed up by the darkness again, then turn to continue forward, only to find that the passage is a dead end just a couple of yards down.

Well then, guess it's either doubling back or climbing the far wall.
