Climb the opposite wall

You sigh and turn your attention to the wall across the cliff you came down from. Relighting a torch and holding it aloft reveals that it is also a cliff. You turn to address Una.

"I think climbing up there is the only way to move forward without risking the trolls running into us."

She gazes up the rockface and nods in agreement.

A plan of action decided on, you stash your light again and walk up to the cliffside. You hoist yourself up with care and begin feeling for handholds. Una hops up beside you, and makes much faster progress, being lighter and defter. Nevertheless, you make steady progress yourself and after a while join her at the top of the cliff.

You pull yourself over the edge and lie down a good ways back on solid ground, trying to rest out the ache in your limbs. After a minute, you feel recovered enough to stand, shrugging off your pack to fish out your canteen.

Una had gone around the bend after making sure you got up alright and was now crouched in front of a new doorway. You walk over to her and see she is fiddling with what looks to be some trap mechanism.

You kneel down beside her and watch her work, trying to see if there's anything you can do.
