The minutes passed as Zack and Heather caressed each other on the bench. Neither was too interested in moving. However, the bench they were sitting on was not exactly built for long term seating comfort. Zack eventually needed a stretch.

“Baby, I hate to do it, but I gotta get up,” he informed Heather.

“Aww! Am I too heavy for you?” she teased as she stood up.

“Well, my grandpa always said ‘A bad day of fishing is better than a good day of work.’ Get the poles,” Heather said with a smile.

“Okay!”

Zack grabbed the fishing poles and Heather set up a couple of camp chairs near the shore. The girl was puzzled when her new boyfriend came over to the chair she was sitting in.

“I set you up over there, Zack,” she said.

“Yeah, but if I sit over there, you can’t sit in my lap while we fish,” Zack informed her.

“Hmm. Sounds like a plan,” Heather said as she stood to her feet, “but how’s fishing gonna work?”

“Simple. I cast, you reel it in.”

The blue-eyed girl flashed a big smile as she once again took a seat in Zack’s lap. This time, they both faced the lake. Fishing as a couple was rather easy for them. After casting the line out, Zack would hand Heather the fishing rod and a minute or so later, she would reel in the line.

The pair fished for about half an hour. Every few minutes, Zack’s hands moved a bit lower on Heather’s back. When he got to her lower back, Heather leaned back into him.
