Chapter 81 - Save Mia??

Mike’s eyes remained fixed on the blue window floating in front of him. His body sank back onto the mattress as his hands finally moved away from Nancy. The strange silence of the hospital room returned for a brief moment, broken only by the faint sounds of the machines around them. The screen remained perfectly clear before his eyes, displaying the reward he had been waiting for.

Mike stared at the words for a moment, but he already knew there was a problem. He could not redeem the reward while Nancy was still in the room. The moment he lifted his head and looked toward her, she was already moving away. Nancy hurried across the small room and went straight into the bathroom before quickly shutting the door behind her.

Almost immediately, the sound of running water came from inside. Mike understood what she was doing without needing to ask. She had gone to rinse her mouth.

The moment she disappeared from sight, Mike turned his attention back to the blue screen and redeemed the reward. A small vial appeared in his hand as if it had materialized from thin air. He looked down at it, briefly considering whether he could somehow use it on his injuries, but the thought was quickly dismissed.

His body was still covered with the IV and his earlier injuries, and the soreness from those wounds had not completely disappeared. Pouring the potion over himself seemed pointless, so he simply raised the vial to his lips and drank everything inside in a single swallow.

For several seconds, nothing seemed to happen. Then a strange sensation suddenly spread through his body. It began deep inside him and quickly moved through his veins, feeling almost like warm blood racing beneath his skin. Mike instinctively tightened his fingers around the empty vial as the sensation traveled through his arms, chest, and legs.

The feeling was strange, but it was not painful. Instead, it carried a warmth that seemed to reach every part of his body at once.

The changes followed almost immediately. The small puncture marks left by the IV began closing, and the dull pain that had remained in his head slowly disappeared. The weakness that had kept his arms and legs heavy was gone as well. Mike flexed his fingers and found that they responded instantly.

He moved his shoulders, then his arms, testing his body carefully before moving his legs. The exhaustion that had weighed him down was fading, replaced by a familiar strength that allowed him to move without hesitation.

Mike took a slow breath and looked at his hands. He was able to move again and no longer trapped in the hospital bed, unable to do anything while Mia and Eve were somewhere outside, waiting for help. Whatever the potion had done, it had given him back the strength he needed. He could stand, he could move, and most importantly, he could finally go after them.

Before he could make another move, a new blue window appeared directly in front of his eyes. The sight of it immediately caught his attention, and as he read the words displayed across the screen, his expression became serious. This was not another small task or optional reward. It was a main quest, and the objective was exactly what he had been thinking about.

Mike stared at the quest for a few seconds, letting the meaning sink in. Forty-eight hours was all the time he had. There was no room to remain in the hospital, and there was no reason to waste even a minute now that his body had recovered enough for him to move.

He stood up.

For a moment, he simply remained there, testing his balance and waiting for the weakness that had previously made even the smallest movement difficult. It never came. The floor felt firm beneath his feet, and his legs held him without trembling. He straightened his back and took another breath, feeling the strength that had returned to his body.

The bathroom door finally opened, and Nancy stepped back into the room. Something in her expression had changed. The look in her eyes was different now, carrying a warmth and intensity that immediately caught Mike’s attention.

He sensed where this was going, and a quiet concern settled over him. Whatever Nancy had in mind was going to take time, and time was the one thing he could not afford to waste. Even so, he reached for his clothes and began changing, determined to get ready and leave.

Nancy was so caught up in the moment that she barely seemed to notice anything around her. She did not stop to question why Mike was already standing beside the bed, why the IV was no longer attached to his arm, or why the sensors and tape that had covered his body were now gone.

The injuries and weakness she had seen earlier were no longer visible either. Mike was standing on his own, completely healed, but Nancy's attention was fixed entirely on him. She seemed to notice only that he was there and that he was getting ready to leave.

Before he could finish changing, Nancy moved closer from behind and slipped her arms around him. She held him tightly while pressing lingering kisses along his back, her hands moving restlessly over him. Mike tried to ignore the distraction and continued pulling off the hospital gown, keeping his attention on getting dressed rather than responding to her advances.

Only then did it become clear that, just as he had suspected, Nancy wanted more than a few moments together. She wanted him to stay with her, and the urgency in her actions made her intention obvious. Mike understood what she was asking for, but his mind was already somewhere else. Mia and Eve were still waiting for him, and the quest had given him only forty-eight hours to find them.

Mike finally turned his head toward Nancy, trying to make her understand that he could not afford to lose any more time. His voice remained calm but firm as he answered her.

“Nancy, not now,” he said.

But her hand was already inside his underwear. She closed her fingers around his shaft and It was no longer soft. She freed it completely, her full breasts pressed against his back as she started stroking him again with firm, steady pulls.

Mike spoke inside his mind. “Hey system, give a quest for this as well.”

The system answered flatly.

[Bro, save Mia and Eve.]

“I can’t go like this, right?” Mike shot back.

The system seemed to give up. The blue screen vanished for a second and then reappeared with a bright chime.

[DING!]

A smile tugged at Mike’s mouth. It faded almost at once as he remembered that Mia was in danger. What the hell was he doing? He turned around. Nancy’s grip on his cock loosened.

Mike wrapped both arms around her, pulled her tight against him, and brought his mouth down on hers in a hard, sudden kiss.
