A Matter Of Principle
Megan and Sarah got into an argument with two young men in the park. The discussion quickly escalated into a battle of the sexes.
“No woman could ever accomplish everything a single man could,” one of the guys laughed.
Megan crossed her arms.
“Oh, come on. We can do everything you guys can.”
“Everything?”
“Everything. Just name one thing. We’ll prove to you that we can.”
When the guy issued the challenge, the girls’ eyes widened. That was outrageous. But Megan and Sarah couldn’t back down now. It was a matter of principle.
Now they were standing at two posts, their hands tied above their heads, and a sign hung between them:
Please spank us!

They looked at each other.
“Did we maybe make a mistake?”
“No way.”
“Should we ask them to untie us?”
Megan shook her head.
“That would be admitting they were right. Never.”
Silence fell.
After a while, Sarah whispered:
“How long are we supposed to stand here?”
Megan glanced at the two young men sitting on a nearby bench, grinning smugly.
“I’m afraid we didn’t specify that.”
Sarah sighed.
“So basically…”
Megan nodded.
“We’re stuck here forever.”
