What's next?
The second half
The game continued, and I mostly kept to myself.
I tried not to think too much about what I’d just seen. Instead, I focused on the game and watched the rest of the night unfold.
The second half was just as competitive as the first. Both teams kept trading big plays, and the lead seemed to change every time one side started gaining momentum.
The crowd stayed loud the entire time.
Then, late in the fourth quarter, our team finally pulled ahead.
The other team had one last chance, but our defense came up with a huge stop to end the game.
The final whistle blew.
The stadium erupted.
Everyone around us started cheering, yelling, and jumping up and down. Jeff threw his arms in the air, Chase shouted along with the student section, and Ariana was laughing as the crowd celebrated around us.
