A Tiny Microphone

"Just a tiny, but powerful and crisp quality microphone."

Sonic and Tangle looked over at the door entrance. Tails was the one who gave that answer, and he was carrying his Miles Electric in his left arm.

Sonic was confused by Tails's answer. "A microphone? But Tails, why would you want a microphone attached to Amy?"

Tails gave a Sonic a mischievous smirk. "For this:"

The inventive fox turned on his Miles Electric. Suddenly, they could hear voices.

"Alright! What should we do first?"

Sonic recognized that voice. "That's Amy!"

"I don't know, Amy."

Tangle knew that voice. "That was Cosmo's voice."

It doesn't take much thought to mentally put everything together. Knowing exactly what the purpose was, Sonic gave Tails a wide teasing toothy grin. "Tails, you cheeky little devil."

Tangle, staring at the Miles Electric, gave a wide grin of her own, except it was more eager and excited, and her eyes were sparkling with delight. "OH... MY... CHAOS! WE'RE LISTENING ON THEIR CONVERSATIONS! WE'RE SPYING ON THEM!!!"

Sonic chuckled from Tangle's excitement. "I see you're having a forbidden thrill, Tangle. I hope that doesn't make you go peeping into people's homes."

Tangle blushed and got defensive. "H-Hey! Listening to someone's conversation is not the same thing as watching them! I mean, if we had blackmail intentions or something, nobody would believe us with just audio!"

Tails picked the Miles Electric back up. "We're not blackmailing the girls. We're just gonna pull a little prank on them as all, and I've already got that prank planned out."

Tangle leaned into Tails and wrapped her arm around his shoulders. "Ooh, a prank?! Tell me! Tell me! Tell me!"
