Should Condiment Wizard try something else?
First he should work on the lighting
For a long moment Condiment Wizard thought on working on something else in tandem with his great red thundercloud head spell. Then he thought on it a moment and realized he should work on the spell itself. It was the same spell he had used at Arkum asylum as part of his first great spell. At the moment it was only different and more powerful because Klarion had added chaos to it.
How could he improve and show it if he was dependent on others to boost or improve his spells for him? He thought on it for a long moment as he continued to pump magic ketchup into the shifting runes on the building he was standing in. Then it occurred to him that he was pretending to be a god's wraith, so why not use the typical servants of a god? He messed with the cloud formation, shifting it around to where he needed it to be.
Soon enough he believed he was ready, so he spoke through his cloud head, his voice booming with each word. "I send forth my angels now. Fear them, for they bring torment and destruction on all your unworthy souls!" Condiment Wizard roared, then had smaller clouds separate from the main one. They formed into humanoid shapes with large wings; their bodies were made entirely out of red clouds. They held swords made of red lighting.
For a moment Condiment Wizard was concerned they wouldn't work, that they would disappear as soon as he stopped directly controlling them. He was wrong about that, and his angels of wraith flew around the general area, he was shooting lightning, and roaring thunder. The addition was working; he would have to wait and see to find out how effective it was.
Though the image in his mind of the Justice League fighting through his red cloud angels to get you, hik, was a great one. So with that image in mind, he continued with what he had been doing. Throwing lighting at mountains and seeing how many avalanches it took to clear the mountain of snow. The red cloud angels added their might as well, throwing lighting as they flew around like they were bombers.
This went on for a while, yet as he had his fun, he decided that he should continue an early experiment to be sure of a theory he had about his condiment magic. First he took a second and managed to get the magic ketchup to keep flowing from him without conscious thought. With the magic spell secured, he then focused back on his own thoughts. Earlier at his lab at Arkum Asylum, he had theorized that white condiments had life-giving power.
Though he hadn't proven that theory, as he only had two white condiments, which were tartar sauce and sauerkraut. He would need to find a third to prove the pattern. So he looked inside himself, feeling where the sauerkraut came from and how his idol wand made his tartar sauce. It was a strange series of feelings that barely made any sense to his mad mind.
In the end he found another magic condiment, and he shot further from his fingers away from himself. Blue cheese dressing shot forth a white substance filled with blue specks pooled beneath the tall building he was in. At first nothing happened, and as Condiment Wizard watched, the unresponsive blue cheese dressing seemed to simply be there on the ground, and then something began to form—something very big. "What is that!" The condiment wizard shouted, astonished.
Unbeknownst to Condiment Wizard, the blue cheese dressing had never been still and had been working the moment he had shot it out. The problem has been there was only one thing to bring back. A giant that had been reduced to dust. The condiment wizard hadn't noticed because of how high it was up and far from the blue cheese dressing. Bit by bit the dust was gathered, and once the blue cheese had most of it, it began to bring him back.
He took shape as his form was remade, though this time it wasn't as it was originally. There were machines imbedded throughout his body. Once he stood at his original twenty-four feet tall, the machines his body whirled and bleeped a sign of coming online. The giant opened his eyes and took in the Condiment wizard, who found himself very nervous all of a sudden.
Far away a woman in a clocktower sat at her station, getting more and more annoyed. She had spent the last couple of nights with no sleep trying to coordinate the Batfamily as best she could. Which wasn't easy as the situation was constantly shifting as several districts turned into warzones. What made it worse was that Batman, Red Robin, and Nightwing weren't taking the death of Condiment Wizard well.
Jason Todd was fine; he'd killed enough people that the death didn't faze him. He was more annoyed that swamp thing had pulled a fast one on him. Damian, being a trained killer, wasn't bothered either; he was with Jason, not liking Condiment Wizard pulling a fast one. So that were two members operating as usual; the other three were very much not.
Batman was in a weird midway point. As he ferociously tried to end the gang war with as much speed and ferocity as he could bring it, Bear. While also looking for every shred of information on the parliament of trees and why swamp things would kill someone to stop their return. Red Robin was dealing with his arguing parents and the death of Condiment Wizard, so he was stressed out, and Nightwing was another problem entirely.
He was feeling guilty, of course, in fact more so than anyone else. This was due to who he was, as he was the people person of the Batfamily. The fact he hadn't spotted what swamp thing was up to in the initial fight in Gotham Woods haunted him like a noose tied around his neck. This was her main problem, as despite her mind, body, and soul belonging to her master, she was dating Nightwing before her master's magical might had shown her where she belonged, and suddenly breaking up with him out of the blue would bring suspicion she didn't want.
So she put up with his sulking and attempts of romancing her. For the moment she was able to put up with it, but she wasn't sure about the future. She sighed to herself and rolled away on her wheelchair. It irritated her that she had to use it, but she couldn't let it be known what she had gained for becoming her master's loyal whore. So she made her way out of the clock tower and towards her apartment.
She made it with no real problem, and once she was inside, she was planning to spend the rest of her feed time touching herself, thinking of her master. Before she could get started her door bell rang. She took a moment and got herself presentable, then answered. "Come in!" She shouted out at the door. The door was duly opened, and Nightwing came into her apartment. Though he was in regular clothes, so it would be more accurate to call him Dick Grayson.
"Hey babes," Dick said, bringing her flowers and chocolate. He gave her cheek a quick peck, which filled her with disgust. She wanted to strangle him for daring to put his revolting lips on what belonged to the master. She managed to hide it from Dick, and so he kept going. "Just felt you needed to lock me up after all the light nighters you've been doing." Dick said, showing his usual caring side as per usual.
"Thank you, Dick." Barbara said, taking the gifts and going to her living room table, putting the flowers and chocolate there. She then turned back to him, a questioning look on her gaze. They both knew he wasn't just here to give her gifts. A silence came over the room as the question went unanswered. Eventually Dick sighed and answered the unasked question.
"Yeah, I need to decompress. You know how it's been going out there, and I'd figured who better to decompress with than you, babs," Dick said, coming clean. Barbara shook her head simply and had him go get popcorn and a movie for them to watch. They were both soon enough at the couch watching some crappy romance movie. As they watched the movie, Barbara found herself filled with frustration as she watched the movie.
She could be doing so many other better things, such as worshiping her master's images as she touched herself. Instead, she was playing the comfort blanket to Dick. As she thought, a particular interesting thought hit her, and she smiled. She'd have to prepare, but next time she'd be ready for special playtime with Dick, one where he'd learn to enjoy what she would be doing to him. A sadistic smile went across her face at thoughts of the future.
