Cindy's Story

Cindy Ella Forman was 18 and was about to graduate high school. Her father Tom died 18 months earlier in a tragic auto accident, and Cindy's birth mom died in childbirth. Her stepmom Margaret was now her legal guardian. Her stepmom and her stepsister Brooklyn never like Cindy as they were jealous of the attention her dad paid her, and her dad was wealthy, and Margeret and Brooklyn wanted all the money for themselves.

Brooklyn's dad had never married Margaret and skipped town years before, and never kept in touch.

To make matters worse, Brooklyn was 21 and had flunked out of college, and Tom was furious for wasting the tuition money and insisted she get a job, which she did at a friend's mother's boutique, but when Tom died, she quit with her mother's blessings and tried to become an influencer.

After Tom died, Cindy had to do all of the chores. She was given Brooklyn's hand-me-downs and was not given an allowance and according to the will, Tom's estate would pay her college tuition, room & board, and a stipend, and she would get more when she turned 21, but Margaret was burning through the estate quickly.

Cindy had won a tablet computer at school in an honor roll drawing. She kept it hidden from her stepmother and stepsister. One Friday night after her chores were done, she retreated to her small room and noticed a strange app had appeared on her tablet: The Master PC app.
