Her grandparents

Haley without realizing it, she went to her grandparents. Her mind reeling over what just happened. Before she knew it, she was in the driveway of her grandpa's house.
Haley didn't have any other choice. Her friends were at college. Dylan was at work. She knew her grandpa wasn't home either and if anyone would understand it would be Gloria. Haley stepped out of the car with the blanket still wrapped around.
She gave a quick embarrassed glance around the neighborhood. She couldn't see anyone and went to the door. She had to hurry. The sidewalk was hot against her bare feet.
Once on the shaded porch, she stood for a moment taking a deep breath.
"Please, don't let Manny be home," breathed Haley as she rang the doorbell.
