It works on thoughts.

'Sam' holds the device in one hand while raising a finger towards it with the other. "You'll have to think of the person you want to become, and it will do that. That is the most important method you will have to do. After that, you can adjust things later."

Stroking your chin, you look at the device with a curious expression. "So you can become just about anyone?"

'Sam' wags her finger before placing them back on her lap. "Well, not exactly, you're going to have to be someone who exists. It is the safest option for becoming someone else.

For now, there's no way to just do it with some imagination. Like being a random cartoon character or what have you with some creature made from tales.

It is possible though, however there might be some things I did not account for yet, so a bit of imagination might be a slight risk if you prolong things. Needs some sort of stability or else there might be possible side effects."

You nod your head, while still looking at the device and then 'Sam'. "Ah, okay got it."

'Sam' then gives a small smirk. "But I'm still working on it. Making sure it becomes the perfect device to rely on. Might take some time, but I'll get it right. I just need some time."

You let out a sigh of relief. "At least the transformation process is easy."

'Sam' chuckles and places his hands behind his head and rests himself on the bed with one leg crossing over the other. "Very true, my good man. It took a while, but I managed to perfect such a feat. Worth everything that led to it."

Many ideas come into mind. Being someone just to see what it would feel like wearing some different clothes. How people would interact with them. What it might be like to eat. Maybe even try some of those walking attempts they even do. It's like anything is possible. "Could be handy in just about anything."

'Sam' gives a curious look. "Why, do you have something in mind?"
