Shockingly easy

He slowly swung the watch, gently guiding Ann down into a trance. In mere minutes her eyes were drooping. Her breathing was heavy.

"Ann. Are you listening?" He asked

"Uh... Huh..." She replied sleepily.

"Good. Now on the count of three you will fall into a deep trance. One... Two... Three!" He said

As he did, her head dropped, her chin hitting her chest.

"Hah... It worked....it worked!" He whispered to himself in celebration.
