Party of Three

Andy was sat in a darkened room opposite two women, surely among the best looking in the entire University, who were huddled up next to each other on a bed. If he were somehow able to land this as a threesome he could die a happy man there and then.

Having spent most of the evening with Sara, by the time Andy had arrived at the gathering in Elaine's room, it had begun to wind down. Before too long, he and Leah were the only guests remaining.

It seemed that his old classmate had become fully fledged besties with the social media starlet within a matter of days. He wondered if super hit girls deliberately sought each other out to befriend, because this felt like a hell of a coincidence otherwise. Perhaps they had bonded over the shared experience of being relentlessly lusted over by every straight guy they came into contact with.

"So did you two know each other well before coming here?"

Andy was about to give the slightly awkward, though accurate, answer to that question, but Leah cut in first.

"Probably too well. We dated for the longest time"

She gave Andy a subtle wink to play along with her ruse. He felt sure this was humour rather than flirtation, but still...What was it with hot women pretending to date him lately?

"It's great that you can still be friendly" Elaine commended the apparent former couple "Why did you split up"

"Because Andy kept cheating on me"

"What? Why the fuck would you cheat on Leah?" the model asked in shock, gesturing at her beautiful friend "Have you SEEN her?"

"Well, I, er..."

"I don't think it was his fault, he's like a sex addict or something" Leah continued to ad lib "I really tried to be patient with him but it all got too much. He went through my sister, my best friend, my geography teacher, my mother..."

Andy remained aghast at the false allegations he felt obliged not to refute, but Elaine soon caught on.

"You lying fuckers!" She picked up a pillow and gave Leah a friendly bop on the head with it, before doing the same to Andy. She then reached into a bedside draw and pulled out a pre-rolled joint.

"Do you smoke Andy?"

"I've been known to"

Jesus, was everyone doing that here? As fair as Andy was aware, it was instant eviction from the Halls for anyone caught using ****, with no refund for paid rent or deposits. That wasn't an issue for him this week, but he was surprised how relaxed other people were about it.

"I do feel like you two get on well though" Elaine speculated as she lit the spliff "I can tell you have a connection"

"You think?" Leah asked, a little surprised.

"Totally. Maybe you guys should date for real?"

"Andy's an Aquarius, we'd be a disaster"

"Ooh, you're right" Elaine winced "scrap that idea then"

"I tell you what though El, you're a Libra right? Two air signs, that could potentially work?"

"That could potentially work" Elaine echoed with a nod before taking another drag on her joint and passing it to Andy.

Fuck, it seemed both of them really believed in that crap. Andy figured if he wanted to make any serious progress with either of these girls he was going to need to learn more about astrology, much as it pained him to give it any credence.

The trio chatted happily until the spliff ran out. Elaine reached for another.

"One more?"

"Not for me, I'm about ready to turn into a pumpkin" Leah decided as she got up from the bed, stretched and yawned "This has been lovely though"

"I guess I should go too" Andy added.

"You don't have to leave just because I am" Leah encouraged him.

"Yeah, don't make me smoke this on my own" Elaine added.

"Okay, I guess I can stay a while longer then"

Leah gave Elaine a long, tight hug and a kiss on the cheek before, much to Andy's surprise, she did the same to him. She then left, leaving Andy alone with perhaps the most beautiful woman he had ever seen in real life.

"So" Elaine smiled as she made herself even more comfortable on her bed "Where were we?"
