Lauren’s glass pauses halfway to her mouth as the direct suggestion hangs in the warm mountain air. A distinct, charming flush spreads quickly across her cheeks and down her neck, her usual composed hostess persona giving way to a wave of genuine, slightly flustered embarrassment. She glances down at her summer clothes, then looks up at Elena and Chloe, offering a self-deprecating laugh as she gently shakes her head.

“As tempting as a little extra mountain breeze sounds, I think I’ll stick with my sun dress for now” Lauren says, her tone light and thoroughly amused despite her blushing skin. “With my fair complexion, I would turn into a bright red lobster in less than ten minutes.”

Chloe chuckles warmly, leaning back in her chair and stretching her bare legs into a patch of sunlight with absolute, unbothered ease. “Oh, come on, Lauren, that’s an amateur excuse,” she teases, her eyes dancing with playful energy. “Nudist 101 dictates that you never step outside the door without a bottle of SPF 50. It’s practically the first rule in the handbook.”

“Exactly,” Elena chimes in with a knowing grin, casually adjusting her position as she rests an arm over the back of her chair, entirely comfortable in her bare skin. “We came prepared.” She says pulling a bottle out of the little bag they had with them.

Lauren’s smile deepens, the playful camaraderie of the two women clearly melting away the last of her hesitation, even if she isn’t quite ready to shed her clothes just yet. She looks over at you, an expectant, highly amused glint in her eyes to see how you’re going to handle the pressure.
