Elsa is more focused on getting back to Kelsy

“I-I’ll think about it…” Elsa said to Dani.

Dani rolled her eyes, knowing that was just a polite way of saying ‘no’. She was undeterred though. “At least tell me a little something about her!”

Elsa shivered. She knew that once Dani had her nose set on a story, she was like a rabid dog until she got it. Setting her loose on poor, innocent Jennifer without warning would be inhumane. She kept trying to stall out of committing.

“Look, Dani, can we do this another time? I can’t talk now, I need to do some things!” Elsa said, quickly backing away. Before escaping, she remembered to grab Kelsy’s clothes and throw them in her bag. Kelsy was definitely on her to do list. She fast-walked until she was on the elevator before she could take a sigh of relief.

Elsa’s first stop was the dorm laundry room. She tossed Kelsy’s shirt and yoga pants into the washing machine and headed out to grab lunch. She felt bad about using the machine for just two items of clothing, but didn’t want to head back to her room to grab more clothes to clean in case Dani was still there. With the washer running, she went to the school canteen for food.

It took some time for her to unpack what had just happened today. Firstly, she was going to have to get Sonya back for the selfie prank. Secondly, she was going to have to talk to Jen about it as well. She wondered what Jen would say about her roommate being interested in her. She hadn’t even considered that Dani would be interested in other women; the journalism student was always more focused on her courses over any romantic involvements.

Elsa picked up her phone and stared at it. The nude photo was still her wallpaper, so she quickly tried to change that when someone interrupted her.

“Hey, Elsa!” Jen greeted. She had a tray in her hands with the very same lunch that Elsa had. They were evidently under the same school meal plan.

“Oh! Jen! Hey!” Elsa greeted back, quickly hiding her phone.

“Mind if I join you?” Jen asked. She had a pep in her voice, still riding high from last night’s wrestling.

“Sure, not at all!” Elsa replied, clearing space on the table for Jen’s tray. “How’s your day so far?”

“Kind of boring compared to last night!” Jen giggled.

“Yeah… heh… that was pretty wild!” Elsa agreed.

“DId you find anything on your phone?” Jen asked, uncharacteristically impishly.

Elsa raised an eyebrow. “Wait… you were a part of that?” she accused.

Jen covered her mouth to stifle her giggle. “Sonya said she left something fun on there when you were busy. Oh! Did I ruin the surprise? I shouldn’t have said anything… I don’t even know what she left!” She self consciously took a sip from her drink.

“Oh no, I saw! And it was a doozy!” Elsa assured her, turning on her phone and sliding it over to Jen. “See for yourself! It was a nude selfie and you’re in it!

*COUGH*

Jen nearly choked on her cola. “Wait! You have a nude pic of me?!” she asked with panic in her eyes.

“It wasn’t on purpose! Sonya took it and I don’t think she even knew you were in the shot!” Elsa explained.

Jen snatched the phone and stared at Elsa, demanding, “Who else saw?! Who else knows?!” Her pupils became pin pricks when she stared down at the two naked ladies in the shot, then she went pale when she recognized her own face. “Oh god!”

Jen shrunk back into her seat, realizing she had caused a scene. Elsa smiled politely at the other eaters, then returned her attention to the hyperventilating strawberry blonde.

“No one else saw! And you’re barely even in it, you don’t even show anything, so it’s fine!” Elsa assured her.

“Are you sure?!” Jen asked, still looking frantic, but staying in her seat and keeping her hands covering the phone.

“Well… my roommate brought it to my attention,” Elsa confessed. She debated keeping this from her friend, but Dani wanted Elsa to set her up with Jen, so it would only make things more complicated if she lied about that fact.

“OK… that’s not so bad…” Jen said, taking breaths and talking to herself. “I’ll just never meet that person and it will all be fine….”

“Actually…” Elsa added, “She recognized you…” Jen held her breath, staring off into the distance. Elsa sighed. She was only doing this so that Dani would stop pestering her about it and whatever Jen response would be what she got. “She’s interested in you and was kind of pushing me to introduce you two…”

“OK… OK… that’s kind of a lot to take in…” Jen replied, bleakly staring at her lunch.

“Well, for what it’s worth, Dani’s a cool gal,” Elsa said, taking a bite of her sandwich wrap. “Attractive too!” She noticed that this wasn’t moving the petite blonde. “But if you’re not interested back, we can pretend this whole conversation nevah happened. I told her I’d think about introducing you two, no promises…”

“Uh… yeah,” Jen nodded, “I’ll give it some thought.”

“And who knows, mebbe we could do a double date!” Elsa added.

“With you and Sonya?”

“Oh. Yeh, nah… mebbe…” Elsa replied a little nervously. Her mind was on Nurse Kelsy but that wasn’t even a sure thing at the moment, just wishful thinking.

“Is there… somebody else?” Jen asked, perceptively.

“Well, I did meet someone today, but I haven’t even asked her out…” Elsa blushed.

Jen leaned in closer, silently waiting for Elsa to spill the tea. The prolonged silence was too much for Elsa to take and she spilled within a minute. Jen felt a giddy joy at being part of a romance conversation with a friend. After Elsa had revealed all about her morning and Kelsy, Jen had a determination in her eyes.

“You’ve gotta ask her out!” Jen stated. In all her experience reading and watching young romances, the main protagonist had to be bold and make the first move!

“Wot? Naur! I can’t do that!” Elsa blushed. She was already regretting telling Jen everything.

“You were naked in front of this woman!” Jen reminded her. “You basically propositioned her!”

“And she didn’t say yes!” Elsa reminded Jen. “I still don’t even know for sure if she’s into girls or was just teasing me!”

“Well, there’s only one way to find out,” Jen said, folding her arms together resolutely while giving her friend an assertive stare.

This time, Elsa was covering her face in embarrassment. “I couldn’t…”

“You’ve got a nude selfie as your wallpaper and you’re too chicken to ask a girl out?” Jen accused.

“Th-Thet’s different…” Elsa stumbled. “All our WSW stuff, we do wild things, but it’s like a different world from this one!”

“You’re the same person in both worlds, you can do this!” Jen encourage.

“Then I could say the same to you!” Elsa deflected. “You have a pretty girl with eyes on you and you don’t even want to meet her?”

Jen instantly became defensive when the spotlight came on her. “I couldn’t…” Her face flushed red again. Elsa nodded, knowing the feeling. Jen grimaced. “Alright. How about this? If you ask Kelsy out… I-I’ll go out with your roommate!” Jen couldn’t even look at Elsa when she made the proposition.
