Chapter 5 – Lake House Vacation (continued)

Jason wasn’t sure how long they lay together basking in the afterglow of their respective climaxes, but after some interminable period, Kate propped herself up on her elbows and wiggled her hips. “How are you still hard?” She asked, making him realize he’d been willing himself to remain within her.

With a groan, he shifted his hips, and allowed his erection to begin softening, but kept it slow so as not to be too obvious. “I think it’s going down a little, but it just feels so good to be inside you.”

“Well, much as I’d love to go again, I’m starting to feel a little sore. Your monster has been pummeling my fornix, and it’s not really designed for that.”

Jason blinked at her, “Kate.” He said after a moment, “For a shy virgin, you have a lot of strange knowledge about sex.”

She lightly slapped his arm, “Shut up! I read a lot, okay?”

He smiled, and drew her into a gentle kiss, which seemed to mollify her. “I never said it was a bad thing.” He whispered against her lips as they parted but remained close, less than an inch separating them. “I love everything about you, even the things that might seemingly contradict. You’re an athlete and a book worm, shy but kinky, spiritual and adventurous, demure but aggressive. The more I discover, the more I fall for you.”

“But you’re still dating Chloe.” She murmured, laying her head on his chest as she adjusted her position, once more rolling her hips with a soft moan from his half-hard cock stirring within her. “I just realized, I’ve got all of you inside me now, because you’re not fully hard.”

“I’m dating Chloe, yes. But that doesn’t mean I can’t date you too. I know it’s not traditional, but I care about you both, in similar yet different ways, and would be honored to call you my girlfriend. A shiver ran through her, and she raised her head to look into his face, searching his expression. She seemed to find the sincerity she sought for as she closed the distance and kissed him once more. “I’d love to call you my boyfriend as well, so long as Chloe is okay with it.” She whispered then added, “It’s getting a bit cold here though. I think it’s probably time to get dressed and head back. I’m going to need a shower.”

“I may need another one too.” He agreed, then grasped her around the waist, helping to lift her off of him, finally allowing his erection to start softening completely, though he discovered quickly that it made removing the condom a bit messier. He’d have to keep that in mind for next time. He used some paper towels from his own backpack to clean himself off, and offered a few to Kate, which she accepted after using a wet wipe between her legs. Then all of it went into another plastic bag and they each began to get dressed once more.

When they were fully dressed and packed back up, they made their way back onto the trail. A quick glance at his phone showed it had been a little over an hour since they’d split off from Chloe and Heather, and close to three and a half hours since they’d left the cabin and started their hike.

Partway down the trail, Jason’s red-haired companion slowed a little, nudging him in the side with her elbows. “Are you sore?” She asked.

“Um, not really? I mean, I guess I used some muscles I’m not used to using regularly, I can definitely feel some strain there, but it’s not enough to be really uncomfortable. Why?”

She shook her head, blushing, as she admitted, “Walking downhill like this is hurting my legs, particularly my adductors and quads.”

“Quads are on the backs of the legs, right?”

She shook her head, “Front and sides, coming off the knees.” She placed her hands on her legs to indicate their position. “They’re used for squatting and kneeling, and…”

“And riding cowgirl?” He arched one eyebrow at her and grinned.

“Yeah that, I guess.” Her blush deepened.

“And the adductors?”

“For um… clenching my thighs together…” She looked away, her face even more red.

“Worth it?” He asked, and she met his gaze again before nodding and smiling a more genuine smile.

“Yeah, totally worth it.” She agreed, leaning in and giving him a sidelong hug, resting her head briefly on his shoulder as they continued walking together. “Wish the cabin had at least one bathtub. I would enjoy a hot soak.”

“I could give you a massage.” He suggested.

But Kate shook her head, her messy red hair bobbing around her face. “I’d be too embarrassed for you to massage me there, and it’s not that bad. Honestly, I probably just got a little too energetic. I’ll be okay by tomorrow morning.”

“I’m glad. I know you’re a fitness freak, but I’m guessing a lot of those muscles were ones you hadn’t really trained that much up to now.”

She shrugged, giving a smile that compressed the freckles on her cheeks. “I guess I’ll just have to focus on those muscle groups more in my routine.” She said in a sultry tone.

“I’m not going to object to that.” He returned her smile, and then leaned in for a brief kiss.

It took them the better part of an hour to get back to the cabin, which was oddly quiet when they entered. They could hear water running through the pipes and saw Chloe on the couch.

The Navajo girl’s face lit up when they entered, setting her book down to get to her feet and approach them. “How’d it go?” She asked excitedly. “I see you let your hair down.” She added, as she faced Kate directly.

The redhead’s hand went to her scarlet hair, which was loose and messy around her face. “Oh crap, my ponytail holder. It must have come out on the trail…”

“Don’t you mean a little off the trail?” Chloe said, teasingly.

But Kate glanced around, “Not so loud.” She whispered.

“It’s fine.” The black-haired girl assured her. “Lena went hiking with the teens, so it’s just us, Alex, and Heather right now.”

“Is Heather in the shower then? Where’s Alex?” Jason asked.

“They’re in there together. It was my idea.” Chloe admitted, looking embarrassed. “That was the deal I made with Heather, a little help getting together with Alex. I don’t think they’re getting it on in there, but Alex at least agreed to give it a shot, and see if she could get comfortable with the idea of a little intimacy.”

“Oh, wow!” Kate gasped. “I was right, but I didn’t think Alex was interested in that sort of thing.”

“Yeah, she’s probably a little bi-curious at best, but she’s willing to try some things. I did my best not to be pushy, but after explaining the situation, she agreed she could give Heather a chance and see where things go.”

“Well, I need a hot shower myself, but I suppose I should wait until they’re done so the hot water doesn’t all run out before we’re finished.” The Irish girl said, changing the subject somewhat.

“In the meantime, you can fill me in on all the juicy details.” Chloe suggested.

“Um… I’ll let you and Jason do that. I might die of shame if I have to listen to that conversation. I’ll just read a bit on my phone, I think.”

“Are we getting cell signal here?” Jason pulled his phone out to check; only a single bar.

“I have some fan-fictions saved on my phone.” Kate explained.

“Ah, some of those graphic ones?”

“Shut up.” She said, and he just chuckled. “I won’t know until I read them. But some are rated M.”

“Wait, you read adult fan-fiction?” Chloe asked, her black eyes wide.

“Um… yes…” Kate’s face burned red behind her freckles.

“Cool.” Chloe said simply. “Who’d have guessed.”

The green-eyed athlete smiled, “Thanks for not making a big deal about it. Now, if you’ll excuse me.” She went into the master bedroom and closed the door, leaving Jason and Chloe alone in the living room.

“So, details.” She said, taking his hand and dragging him to the couch to sit next to her while he explained everything that had happened with Kate after they split up.
