What's next?
You entertain Nulfhild after-work
The bakery has closed for the day. The front lights are dimmed, and the raging fire of the stone-wrought ovens is gone, making it warm and almost comfortable.
You wait in a room inside the bakery. It's a small space behind the main oven, lit by a single hanging lantern. The smell of fresh bread and yeast is strong here. Nulfhild steps out from a back room, wiping his hands on an old cloth that should've been replaced years ago. He stops when he sees you here.
For a moment he just looks at you. Then he understands. Out of some derelict desire to see you not steal, he passes you a Lentime, as if that'd make you feel better about the whole thing.
