The rules are what we make them

Two polls went on at the same time. In the first, Emma and Jean saw a couple different options competing for what rule change would happen. In the other, the playing cards were duking it out. In the end, pick your poison and nine of diamonds won out. Both Jean and Emma released a breath they didn't know they were holding.

"Well, look at that. Nine of Diamonds won with 41.7 percent and Pick Your Poison won with 37.5 percent!" Spiral announced. "That means, before anything, let's figure out what boy gets gender swapped!"

A big wheel of shirt on the screen and spun itself. Around around it went until it finally landed on a name: Gambit.

"Now let's see what our little friend is doing, and how he's going to react," Spiral said.

"Rogue is gonna kill us," Jean said from her tube, rolling her eyes.

"Hey, you drew the card," Emma said.

The screen cut to camera footage of Gambit jumping from rooftop to rooftop. His wife Rogue was flying behind him. Right as he was running to the edge he stopped and clutched his chest. He got done on his knees and something's clearly felt odd. His mouth was open and looked like it was screaming. Rogue silently said something to him that couldn't be heard. She flew up to check on him. That's when the transformation started happening. Steam poured from him as he slimmed down and his hair grew out. He started glowing in amber light as his body morphed and his suit changed to fit it. Eventually, it finished and upstood a brand new Gambit.

"Now a simple sex change is limited in its fun," Spiral said. "So we put a little reality warping secret sauce in it. Everyone but you guys and Remo thinks she's always been that way. Just to sprinkle an extra bit of confusion on it all!"

"We should pretend like we are like eveyone else in that regard," Emma said.

"Emma!" Jean shouted.

"What?" She turned to Jean. "Gets her off our backs."

"Now, let's resolve the other votes," Spiral continued. "Emma, what category would you like to get rid of?"

"Do I get to know what it would be replaced with?" Emma asked.

"Nope!" Spiral said.

"Fine. Get this lovely chain off me!" Emma said.

"Ring out. Got it. Let's see what the audience voted for you to replace it with!" Spiral said. The screen lit up again showing a new chart. "With 41.7 percent of the vote, we have Breasts!"

"Wait, what?" Emma said.

"Yep, the audience wanted you to have a different breast change," Spiral explained. "Because you chose the same category we're just swapping them. There's also means Jean will get third place in this category. Let's look back at the old graph and see what got second place." The Breasts chart went back up and sure enough, Wait Why is This Here? was in second. "With 30.4 percent, you're getting Wait, Why is This Here?"

Immediately Emma's breasts shrank, being absorbed into her chest. Once they were done being absorbed, her hips and butt flared out extremely quickly, popping off the button keeping her tight shorts on, and breaking some of the seams. Without the button keeping the shorts in place they dropped to the ground, showing Emma's bare pussy.

"Great!" Emma said more cheerfully than she tried to. She tried to pull the shorts back up noticed something as she bent down. "Hey! I still have the chain attached to me!"

"Yeah, well, while it might no longer impede your movement, we're not just going to remove it. For free? Who do you think we are? Nah, you'll need to get a professional to clip those wings. A word of advice? Use adamantium to cut through that metal," Spiral said. Emma would grumble if she could. "Now, because Jean being here is a punishment, we don't double up on any of the blessings you get. She'll just have to deal with her issues on their own. Now spin the wheel so we can get going!"

"Wonderful!" Emma purred. She gave up on trying to pull the shorts over her new ass and just spun the wheel.

Author's Note: Whelp, I'm relieved that we don't have a third X-Woman joining the ranks. Honestly that would have been fun but the playing card bit was getting tiring. Secret: if there was a third woman she would just take the second place punishment of Jean's which means you would still get a gender bent outcome. To decide the genderbend I just loaded up a random X-Men generator, generated 10 names, and then chose which one I think fit best between being male, being popular, and not being too obvious.

As promised, the data. First, the typical numbers. Pick your poison got 9 votes, who needs a billion dollars and a little sugar got 7 votes each, and veto got 1 vote. For the playing cards, genderswap got 10 votes, Jean getting a new superpower got 9 votes, another new player joining got 5 votes, and the double wheel spin got 0 votes.

Now, for the bonus, what everyone Marvel characters everyone voted!

The one that gets cut off reads "I think they should add two of the stepford cuckoos, but as they are clones i can see B.O.B. bringing all three as one person but counting them as two for a compromise." I don't understand why they think that two would have been a reasonable compromise. It's either one or all of them and personally if this won I would have added all FIVE. I think the Sebastian Shaw one was a joke because the person also voted for a different option but I would have LOVED to add him.

I don't understand what who they meant as Cassandra. Probably Cassandra Nova but she's like a gross 90-year-old woman. Maybe they meant the Deadpool and Wolverine version but we're doing comics baby! It'd be funny to see her in the lineup though.
