“Got it.” I said tracing my eyes over the options and possibilities. Luckily there were so few punishments not many of these brought the same shame that i'm usually drenched in. Not that I have an acute sense of shame thanks to those pills. “Let’s get the bad news out of the way.”

“Hilda and Daisy.” Skye waved her hand and a breeze pulled them both to me.

“Daisy i'm going to roll the dice on you again. I’m giving you another reprieve.”

“Praise Gabe and his mercy!” Anna cheered, before sealing her mouth again with her hands and a blush.

“I won’t let you down boss!” She snapped out another sloppy salute, somehow still among my highest level units.

“And for Hilda.” I blushed. “The uh, redhead one.”

There was a collective groan amongst the girls. I think it had to be because I could have chosen a trait that would have no affect at all.

Hilda who was normally unflappable sighed. Well that unflappability was a new feature to go with her age, as a human she’d been a hyper little thing. Regardless she **** a smile. “It was the only one that suited me.” She shook her head. “It’s good that you make me better suited for your harem. I thank you my prince for your guidance.”

“Kiss up.” Anna muttered, loud enough for everyone.

Precious cackled. “Oh praise Gabe!” She said mockingly bringing her hands together in prayer.

“That wasn’t me!” Anna snapped. “Besides you don’t see me crawling onto his lap every chance I get.”

“Children, Children.” Lana growled. “Can we focus? We’re missing two people and falling apart at the seams. I just want to remind everyone that if we don’t complete the quest we all die.”

“You’re already dead.” Skye corrected. “You don’t get to live again is what the stakes are.”

“Oh my.” Hilda staggered as if a gust of wind had nearly blown her over. The effect was instant. Like dough being squeezed through a tube her hair started to grow, and curl in on itself before cascading heavily down to her shoulders, then down her back and finally to her tiny ass. She was swallowed by a cape of Ruby hair, that looked lush and inviting. Her cute little pixie cut was a thing of the past.

“Wow.” I said, admiring the change. It changed the equality of her beauty in a way hard for me to describe. She seemed more… I don’t know kittenish to me I guess, less intimidating. The pixie cut was cute, but on a woman so tall, I don’t know, I guess it reminded me of a supervisor. This suited her class well too, a barbarian with a wild head of red hair, perfect.

“Anyone want to try it out?” Skye offered.

The silence was telling. The girls would fling insults, and fight in an arena, but empty power plays in front of each other wasn’t going to work.

“No one’s falling for that.” I said to Skye, then realized… I could try it out. “Actually, Hilda kneel by my side.”

Her eyes went wide and she looked around. “There no need for that, I…”

“Hilda.” I cut her off. “You played mischief on me last night. Did you think I’d forget?”

“All in your service I assure you.” She said, though she slouched and joined me by my throne. She was not unlike a dog sitting there on my left side, Precious on my right. I feeling bold and powerful reached down and grabbed a good handful of her hair. It was soft and sturdy, and there was so much of it now. It bunched in my hands and I pulled until it was just taut with her skull. She exhaled softly as I did this.

"How do you feel?" I asked her, half wanting to pull her head back and start kissing her neck.

She grunted softly, too softly for it to be her answer. It was a noise for her own benefit. "****." She said after a moment of collecting her thoughts.

"Gabe, don't play with her." Vera said, much to my surprise. She had a hand held in a fist before her chest.

Worried? For Hilda?

For what I might do to her?

That worried me, that was more of Jasmine speaking through them. Trying to protect each other from me.

A king would punish his disloyal paladin for speaking against him like that, but I wasn't a king. Just a prince, and a coach besides. Vera had stood up for, something. A true paladin in her own tiny way. We needed more of that, she needed more of that. "Of course." I told her with a sad smile. "Thank you for speaking up."

She smiled at that too, and for a moment we were both smiling. Though her eyes did drift down to my hand which still held Hilda's hair tight.

"Next?" Skye asked.

"Our piss drinking Cleric of course."

Anna's face turned as red as Hilda's hair. "Gabe I swear to Gabe I'm going to..."

"I'm joking." I said chuckling to a silent audience. They all stared at me coldly.

Right...

Not very funny when it's your life on the line, is it?

"Sorry." I cleared my throat. Was that the pills? Normally I feel like I'd have the good sense not to make a joke like that. Or maybe not, I'm a fucking idiot. "Any way it's going to be the holy vision one."

"Good." She crossed her arms. "You've never given me an orgasm anyway."

"We've never had sex until last night."

"Oh right, never mind." She hid her face to disguise a blush.

"That one actually sounds pretty cool." Daisy said. "Every orgasm is a religious experience?"

Anna just blushed harder. "Can we stop talking about orgasms?"

"We already got there last night Daisy."

"Oh gross." Lana The bard cringed.

"Nice." Daisy nodded enthusiastically.

"Can I get my reward?" Vera said, blushing in her own way.

"You're getting spell casting."

"Nice!" She chirped, then looked unsure. "That's nice right?"

Precious nodded. "That basically makes you our second healer, that's pretty good. Plus you're still our tank, and the only person who can heal will damage. I'd say you're coming along nicely Vera."

Vera grinned. "Growing into the role." I noticed her hands go down to her belly as I said that.

Now I was blushing. "Um, so now we're on to the big winners."

"Ladies first." Precious gestured to Lana.

"For the bard." I said, staring back up at the display screen above my throne. "Actress, which will boost your next bard feat. Which we're going to pick right now, Dance of Diversity."

"Sick." Lana nodded along. "We're totally beating the challenge tomorrow."

"The chances are good." Sky agreed. She waved her hand so the screen now displayed the upgraded Feat.

Dance of Diversity+: This Dance Provides those under it's influence a +4 on Skill checks.

"Wow." Said I.

"Huge." Precious nodded her head in admiration.

"Is there anything you can't do?" Anna smiled at her sister, partly relieved to not have had her own stats sacrificed on the altar of Lana's glory. It was tempting. There's something dark in me that wanted to do it, but I held strong. We'd just had such a good night it would be cruel to punish Anna for no reason right after that. Though I suppose that's what made it fun.

"I just might win this." Lana said, winking to her sister. They smiled between one another. I bet they were happy to see Lana so confident, a trait I think was often robbed from her.

"Last but not least." I looked to Precious.

"Here we go." She closed her eyes.

"Enchanter sounds pretty good, and I'm going to pick too smart for her own good, too."

"Oh boy."

"This stat changing stuff is creepy." Vera said, most to herself.

"Creepy AF" Lana agreed.

"I've got the most fucked stats." Precious laughed.

No joke, I was looking at her sheet. She already had a 1 in two different stats. Why not three? "We'll drop your constitution and dex down by one point each, and putt hose two points in intelligence."

"8 Int." She said with a smile. "That's the highest stat anyone has."

"Nerds." Vera could only shake her head.

"One last choice to make." Skye said, floating to me. "Who shall ye bed tonight, o' prince of the world?"

So that's how we were deciding huh?

"My time has come." Lana muttered, lowered her head, and Anna gave her a comforting pat on the back.

How flattering.

But wrong.

"I'm picking Precious."
