Chapter 42

Who does Billy tell Anna about?
He tells her about Lucy
“…My Coach…” Billy moaned, weakly. “Lucy… She… She was showing me some moves, a-and… She knocked me out…”
This was the safest option, Billy thought. Losing to his skilled coach wasn’t as embarrassing as the other options. Besides that, he felt he could lie just a little in the retelling, since nobody had seen it. For example, Billy chose to leave out the fact that Lucy had been testing him to understand why he’d just gotten his ass kicked - and he retold the story as if it had happened back on the day Anna was asking about, not earlier this same night.
“No one saw. It was after club had ended, and away from the main gym. But… But she knocked me out.” Billy admitted. “She wasn’t trying to… But she hit me in the sweet spot, and… That was that.”
Despite the comparatively less-humiliating story, there was an undeniable humiliation in having this admission drawn out of him by Anna. Pinned to the floor, his tired, bulky arms pinned between Anna’s calves and thighs, his exhausted face exposed… **** to tell her about a genuine defeat he had suffered prior.
Billy was so worn down. His mind felt so weak. Anna looked so strong, posed atop him. So eager, hanging on his every word as he told her what had happened. His body was ready to submit to her. He felt defeated.
“A-Anna, please…” Billy groaned, hoping to end this night’s ordeal. “Lucy told me I need rest. I-It’s dangerous for me to fight so soon after a knockout…”
Anna tilted her head.
“What do you mean?” she asked. Billy shook his head, hoping to appeal to her mercy.
“Coach Lucy knocked me out… I shouldn’t have been fighting at all, but then you ambushed me, a-and you… And I…”
“And I knocked you the fuck out?” Anna offered, grinning. Billy nodded, slowly.
“But I… I shouldn’t be getting knocked out right now. What you’re doing to me… It’s bad…” he moaned, basically pleading this nerd to let him go. “I told you I couldn’t take any more… I told you to stop, to n-not knock me out again… I…”
Anna cut off his pathetic pleas with a laugh, and made a fist. She held the knuckles menacingly close to Billy’s chin, making him shiver. Billy could feel a tingle rising up from his chin as those knuckles hovered dangerously close. He wished his arms were free so he could defend himself… But they weren’t. He was stuck.
If Anna decided to smack his chin, he wouldn’t be able to stop her.
“Oh yeah?” Anna smiled. “And what would it do to you if I did it again?”
“A-Anna, please…”
“What would it do to you?” she repeated, her eyes determined and her smile wide. “What would happen if I just knocked you out again, right here, right now?”
“I… I’m not…”
“What would Coach Lucy say? What would she say it would do to you?” Anna pressed him.
Billy shuddered. He wasn’t sure what to say. He didn’t want to provoke Anna.
“I… I would be…” he spoke slowly. As thoughtfully as his tired mind would allow.
Anna tilted her head in amusement. “Yes?”
With a deep, shaky breath, Billy decided to be honest and ****. Telling Anna that getting knocked out was be no big deal felt more likely to set her off. But if he told her it WAS a big deal… Maybe he could rely on her mercy winning out over her thrill-seeking.
“I would be… In big trouble. M-My brain… You would fuck up my brain. You would fuck up my chin… It would mess with my ability to take a punch. It would fuck up my life… My future…” Billy told her, groggy and dazed. “You might leave a… P-Permanent mark on my brain… You might make me have to quit boxing, for good. Please… Don’t do it…”
Anna chuckled, uncurling her fist and tracing a fingertip over her big brother’s forehead, enjoying his worried face.
“Your brain, huh…~?” her other hand poked a finger out too, tickling just along the edge of Billy’s jawline. “…And your chin~?”
She knew had all the power here. Billy was weakened, pinned, his arms trapped by her legs. Anna could do whatever she wanted to her cool older brother’s brain right now.
She could take away his future. She could take away his toughness. She could dull his mind, and leave him in a constant groggy haze, and there was nothing he could do about it. This was her prize for winning the impromptu wrestling match, and she was taking her time deciding how to cash it in.
It would be pretty funny to see Billy, big strong and handsome, no longer able to take a punch. Her cool older brother, reduced to a shambling mess who could never win another fight. But did she want to go that far with him, just because it would be funny?
She could make him this weak permanently, if she so chose. Or she could set him free, now that she got her answer… Maybe just tease him from the sidelines, maybe go talk to Coach Lucy…
Her big brother was so ****. What happened to him next was entirely Anna’s decision. In this moment, she had ultimate power over the rest of his life. All it would take is batting his head around a few more times. That chin, that brain, they were hers to toy with…
What would Anna do?
