"Sky-clad, as they called it."

“Excuse me,” barks Professor Susan Smart. “Will the two girls in the middle of the room please stand up?”

The crowded lecture theatre fills up with sniggers. Meg and Beth look around, hoping against hope that Susan somehow means two other girls.

“I think it’s perfectly obvious who I’m speaking to.”

Reluctantly, Meg and Beth stand up. They’re not even allowed to cover their bare bodies with their hands, since that would be a clear violation of Hell Week rules. The room rings with whistles and catcalls as they stand among the seats, both stark naked and regretting it deeply. Susan raises one immaculate eyebrow.

“Girls,” she says. “Why are you naked?”

“We’re pledges, Professor.”

“I can’t hear you girls.”

“We’re pledges!”

“No, still can’t hear you. Come down the front, please.”

A cold smile rests on Susan’s face as she watches Meg and Beth approach down the aisles of the lecture theater, ogled by students on all sides, and climb up onto the stage. “That’s better,” she says, as the girls cower and do their best to angle their bodies away from the audience. “Now, girls, why are you naked?”

“We’re pledges,” Meg explains, face bright red as Beth eeks and swivels around so only her ass is presented to the crowd. “Sorority pledges. We have to attend all our classes naked for Hell Week, professor.”

“Really? Isn’t that dreadfully embarrassing?”

“That’s the idea, professor.”

“Well, since you’re here I might as well use you. Now, class, traditionally, the witches of Europe would perform certain dancing rituals naked, or sky-clad, as they called it. And, by coincidence, we happen to have two sky-clad girls among us right now! Present yourselves, girls.” With a slap to the backside, she compels Meg and Beth to swivel around so they’re facing the audience, who lean forward in eager anticipation.

“Can you dance, girls?” she says.

“No, professor.”

“Well. You’re about to learn.”
