Carmilla's heart is a large blood carnellian gemstone set in a vintage silver pendant and chain necklace. It was originally owned by the legendary vampiress Carmilla Von Karnstein. Carmilla was wearing the necklace at the time she was hunted down and destroyed by decapitation. The soul, desires and powers of the vampiress were absorbed by the gem at the moment of her destruction. Dormant for centuries as it has passed from hand to hand, a drop of the wearer's blood will release the soul and powers locked inside and bestow them on the wearer.

Carmilla appeared to be a young woman of supernatural beauty and innocence. A wearer who activates the necklace will be enhanced to youthful female perfection.

The desires of Carmilla

As a vampiress, Carmilla had an intense lesbian lust to feed from and dominate young, attractive women. Once activated, whatever the original nature and sexuality of the wearer, they will mirror the dominant lesbian nature of Carmilla Von Karstein, seeking attractive young women to either feed from or entrall into her service.

The powers of Carmilla

Though a vampire, Carmilla was not destroyed by sunlight or by being pierced through the heart by a wooden stake. Though during the hours of daylight she lacked her vampiric powers and in direct sunlight became weak and fatigued to the point that she would need to sleep in her coffin. Driving a stake through Carmilla's heart paralysed the vampiress instead of destroying her, though she would be conscious and aware through sight and hearing of her surroundings. At night Carmilla possessed supernatural strength and could mesmerise her prey to render them compliant to her. She possessed the ability to transform into a large black cat and to pass etherally through locked doors or other barriers. Excessive use of her powers weakened Carmilla, and drinking blood restored and strengthened her abilities.
