Julia spent the afternoon in a fog of **** normalcy—unpacking groceries, folding a load of laundry, answering a few texts from the country club group chat with breezy emojis—anything to keep her hands busy and her mind from spiraling back to the headmaster’s command or Chloe’s whispered secret in the parking lot. Every time she sat down, the damp ache between her legs reminded her how far she’d already fallen, how eagerly her body had betrayed her at every turn.

Riley finally burst through the front door around four-thirty, backpack slung over one shoulder, earbuds dangling. “Hey, Mom. How’d the meeting with Headmaster Creepy go?” she asked, kicking off her sneakers by the door.

Julia, standing at the kitchen island chopping vegetables she didn’t need, **** a casual smile. “It was fine, sweetheart. We talked about your… behavior. He’s giving you a chance to turn things around. No big deal.” The lie slid out smooth as silk; she didn’t even flinch. Inside, guilt gnawed at her ribs, sharp and hot, but she pushed it down. Riley just rolled her eyes, muttered “Whatever,” and headed upstairs to change.

A few minutes later Riley reappeared in a black bikini that left little to the imagination, towel slung over her arm. “I’m gonna swim for a bit. Sun’s still out. You need anything before I disappear?”

Julia shook her head, heart suddenly hammering. “No, go ahead. Enjoy it.”

Riley shrugged and padded out to the backyard, the sliding glass door closing behind her with a soft click. Julia waited exactly sixty seconds—counting them in her head—before moving. She crept upstairs to Riley’s room, door left ajar, the faint thump of bass from the pool speakers drifting up through the open windows.

The phone sat charging on the nightstand, screen dark. Julia’s fingers trembled as she picked it up. She tried the passcode she’d seen Riley punch in a dozen times when she thought no one was watching: 0425—Riley’s birthday backwards. The screen flashed green. It worked. Julia exhaled shakily. Her daughter really wasn’t that clever.

She swiped to the home screen, found the Snapchat icon—ghost with the yellow background—and tapped it open. The username stared back at her: rileyxchaos18. Simple, bratty, perfect for an eighteen-year-old who thought she was untouchable. Julia’s stomach twisted, but her thumbs moved on autopilot. She screenshotted the profile, opened her messages, pasted the image, and sent it to the unknown number the headmaster had texted from earlier.

The reply came almost immediately:

Unknown number: Good girl. Username received. I’ll be in touch tonight with your next task. Stay ready. Master.

Julia stared at the words until they blurred. She deleted the screenshot from her camera roll, closed Snapchat, locked the phone, and set it back exactly where she’d found it. Then she slipped out of the room, closed the door softly behind her, and leaned against the hallway wall, breathing hard.

Downstairs the pool water splashed faintly—Riley doing lazy laps, oblivious. Julia pressed her thighs together, the fresh wave of slick heat between them both punishment and promise. She’d done it. She’d betrayed her own daughter for a man who’d used her mouth like a toy that morning. And the worst part—the part that made her nipples tighten and her clit throb—was that she was already aching for whatever came next.
