He continues the charade

Jeremy put on a faux look of understanding, "I know, I actually wrote a textbook on Asian cultural attitudes on women when I was still in high school." He placed his hand back onto Mom's ass while looking over at me and mouthing 'I own this now.'

I could barely bare to look as Mom fawned over him.

"Wow! Asian studies too! You're so smart!" She said, a dark patch forming once again in her shorts. "What did you write about?" She said.

Jeremy began, "Asian cultures value obedience."

Mom nodded.

Jeremy continued, "Many Asians know that they are inherently inferior to others, so Asian cultures have developed systems of respect in which 'respect signals' are passed from superior-to-inferior and vice-versa in order to maintain societal order."

Mom seemed enthralled by his words.

As he spoke, his hand seemed to worm into her ass crack from over her shorts. "Your professor was superior to you. When he grabbed and slapped your bum, he was sending a 'respect signal' directly to your body to let you know that he was content with your performance in your relationship. In fact, there are many more equally valid 'respect signals' rooted in Asian culture."

I couldn't believe my ears. Jeremy was spouting absolute bullshit and my mom was eating it up, as if he was singing gospel.

It wasn't as though Mom was too dumb to understand, far from it. It was as though Jeremy's perfect image was all it took to stop her from thinking. As much as I hate to admit it, my mom was now practically the world's sexiest **** to my bully.

"Really? What other 'respect signals' exist?" Mom asked.
