"I need to eat"

"I need to eat," Mandy said, her stomach growling on cue. Unfortunately, we had missed breakfast.

"Looks like a breakfast of empanadas and Margaritas," I said.

"Perfect."

We put on our bathing suits - though Mandy didn't even bother putting on a top - rubbed on some sunscreen , then headed out to the pool area. We glanced around, taking in the strong heat and sunshine. Robert and Ariel were relaxing in the hot tub as usual. They noticed us so we had to go over.

"Hey there," Ariel said as we approached the hot tub.

"Hey," Mandy and I greeted.

"Sorry, I didn't come back to the bar last night," I said to Robert. "I drew my own room and my own wife so it seemed kind of silly to leave then come back."

"And I had him a bit preoccupied," Mandy said with a grin.

"No worries," Robert said. "We got your text. Glad you enjoyed the night!"

"We did," Mandy said with a glowing smile. She gave me a kiss on the cheek. "How were your nights?"

"Well, we drew ourselves too," Robert said. "So, pretty great as well."

"Oh my goodness!" Mandy said with a chuckle. "What are the chances? What if we all drew our own partners?"

"We didn't," Ariel said. "We ran into Mia and Glenn at breakfast. Mia drew Manny, Glenn drew Madeline, which means that Eric drew Dora. Mia and Glenn seemed to have a good time." My mind drifted to thoughts of Glenn and Madeline.

"Oh my goodness, we totally missed breakfast," Mandy said. "We were so tired. We were supposed to get a couples massage but we just skipped it. Part of me wishes we dragged ourselves out of bed though. I'm so sore."

"You could hop in here," Ariel said. "Robert gives great massages and they don't cost hundreds of dollars."

"Well, this one was complimentary," I said. "Otherwise we probably would have sucked it up."
