Chapter 258 by GreenishNightLight GreenishNightLight

Much like her Mate, this Were-Beast does quite enjoy bugging that brat~.

Cuddling & Casually Conversing

Girlie~!

“Ugh... Why...?” Thea just weakly groans as Khalia’s tackling hug forces the air from her lungs. But, despite her apparent annoyance, a rather bright blush quickly fills the bratty girl’s cheeks, drawn out by the nibbling kisses being planted across her neck.

Krvavy pulls out a chair and drops her ass down onto it, casually slinging an arm over her shortstack’s shoulders.

“Mmm.” Inanna acknowledges her Draconic lover’s presence with a hum. Her stout fingers are idly tapping at the edge of a certain checkered board resting between her and the beautiful brat. Patient and attentive.

The dinner table is a bit too large and wide for two people sitting on either side of it to try and play a game like this. Especially when one of those people is a girl as short as this Dwarf. Which would explain why Inanna switched seats, moving over to the one right beside Thea. And, considering that bratty girl’s exaggeratedly mopey mood, she is probably the one who got this game out in the first place.

Doing her best to ignore the Were-Beast’s clingy kissing and cuddling, Thea reaches out and grabs one of her white marble pieces, moving it forwards a couple tiles.

Only for it to be immediately captured and taken off the board.

“How good of a pet do you think the slime will be?” The grey-skinned shortstack calmly asks, lifting her head up to meet Krvavy’s gaze. Her opponent makes a rather frustrated noise and very carefully looks at the many pieces in play.

“Lynn...?” It still feels a bit odd to think of the slime by that name. But it has also only been an hour or so since ‘she’ even got that name, so it’ll take some more time until it starts to feel natural. Until then... Krvavy just needs to keep consciously thinking of ‘her’ as ‘Lynn’ and not just as a slime. “I think she’ll be... she’ll be alright. Assuming her memory is good enough that we don’t need to constantly retrain her...”

Inanna nods and turns her attention back to the board. Thea hasn’t made her move just yet. “I do hope that everything goes well with... her.” The grey-skinned shortstack furrows her thick brow. “Because I do not know what else we could do with that slime. As you stated earlier, killing ‘her’ may not be an option considering that ‘she’ now has a portion of your soul. And, for that same reason, keeping ‘her’ in isolation for extended periods of time would also be... less than ideal.”

The Drakling leans further into her Dwarf, slumping over slightly so that she can rest her cheek atop the voluminous mass of Inanna’s coal-black hair. Her fingers idly draw little circles on the stone-grey skin of this short woman’s absolutely massive tit.

“The way your soul functions is... quite the mystery. And a concerning one at that.” Inanna slides a piece across the board mere moments after Thea has finally made her move. “That your soul has been rubbing off on the others is decidedly atypical. As is the fact that those portions of your soul are clearly growing, as proven by Beryl’s recent symbiosis. But that itself isn’t what worries me. No, that would be the consequences of you dying.”

A bit of concern fills Thea’s face as she slowly looks between Dwarf and Drakling. But... this kind of conversation isn’t exactly unheard of around here. They just don’t talk about it very often. Because of that, the first woman to become Krvavy’s fiancée decides to mostly ignore what is being said, instead focusing on the game in front of her.

Which is not particularly easy with a Were-Beast more or less gnawing on her neck. The strong, paw-like hands kneading and molesting her modestly sized boobs also don’t help with that.

“The process of returning to life is... hard on you. That much is obvious. But if your soul is being worn down, then what of your connection with the others? Will it begin to fade if you die too many times? Or... worse?”

The barbarian bites the inside of her cheek. “I’m... more concerned about it going the other way. About losing one of you.”

“Mm.” Inanna loosely grabs her lover’s other hand – the one not resting atop her titanic tit – and gently guides it into her lap, simply enjoying that intimate but not inappropriate bit of contact. “I know what you mean by that, but purely on the topic of your soul being damaged... I do not believe it would be quite as bad as your own deaths. Perhaps on the same level as losing your Soulbound Weapon? In theory, at least, as we do not yet know what the consequences of that would be.”

Krvavy knows that her Dwarf is just thinking about it analytically... but being so dismissive over even the idea of losing one of her girls sets a knot of dread in Krvavy’s stomach. Her heart beats a bit faster, more nervously, and she can’t help but tense up a little.

“Hmph...” Thea carefully moves a piece across the board, sliding it into a spot where it can’t immediately be captured. At least not without sacrificing something more valuable. “Do you have anything planned for the day?” She asks her Draconic lover, quite clearly trying to change the topic.

A soft smile slowly spreads across Krvavy’s face. Her worries don’t exactly fade away, she’ll always be afraid of losing even a little bit of the love she never thought she’d have, but those fears aren’t something she needs to linger on. No point in poisoning the time she spends with her girls like that.

“Well?” The beautiful, bratty girl impatiently asks, brow furrowing as she glares down at the board in front of her. Almost as if she was actually trying to win, no matter how impossible that may be. But Krvavy sees through that. Thea doesn’t care about the game or if her question is even going to be answered. She just doesn’t want the Drakling to dwell on those negative thoughts. This girl may put up a sour act at times, but she really is just the sweetest thing~.

“It’d be nice to have a rather calm day, what with how busy I’ve been recently.” The barbarian breathes out, closing her eyes and simply relaxing as she embraces her busty shortstack. “But just lazing about would... it’d feel... I’m not sure I’d be able to relax like that. I need to grow stronger and gain more favour...”

“Mm.” Inanna takes yet another one of Thea’s white marble pieces off the board. Much to that noble girl’s frustration, even though that was completely expected. “You need something productive to occupy your time with, my Ushumgal.”

“Yeah...” The barbarian’s cups a rather plump and puffy areola in the palm of her hand, fingers lightly digging into the firm but still quite squishy titflesh that surrounds it. “I guess I should get to work on building those other lines of defence you wanted, huh? Unless there is something else that we need around the house...?”

“Seriously? Your first thought is to add even more things onto our home?”

“If you count the entire cave as our home, then yes. Otherwise that was technically my second thought.” Krvavy lightly sasses her feisty little fiancée. “Plus, it’s productive. Something gets built, I get a little bit of experience, and maybe I’ll get some favour too. Depends on what it ends up being, I guess.”

Thea simply rolls her beautiful blue eyes, trying to act as if her cheeks aren’t growing red and rosy. Though, to be fair, Khalia is to blame for that. The Orc’s large green-skinned breasts are squishing into the back of Thea’s head and neck like a pair of wonderful pillows. Not to mention that her own tits are still getting groped as well, stiff little nipples being tugged and pulled with just enough **** to make the girl gasp every now and then.

“Mmh...” The Dwarf leans into her Draconic lover’s cuddling hug, enjoying the slightly lewd massage she is being lavished with. “I do still have some additions to my workshop that need to be constructed, my Ushumgal. If you would like to help with that.”

“Oh, yeah, sure.” That sounds a lot more interesting than narrowing a section of the cave into a chokepoint. Again. “What do you have in mind?”

“Beyond a few smaller projects that I could use a hand with, there is also the waterwheel that I proposed quite some time ago. As well as a system to distribute and make use of the kinetic energy it would produce.”

Krvavy nods just a little, nuzzling her chin into Inanna’s coal-black hair. “Sounds like a plan. When do you want to get started on... any of that?”

“Mmn...” A thoughtful hum rumbles through the shortstack’s busty body. “I will need a small amount of time to prepare and get ready. So perha–?”

Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeiiieeeieeiieeee...

That sudden, warbling squeak cuts the Dwarf off. Everyone’s attention snaps towards Adeline.

Tears are freely flowing down the adorable girl’s round and rosy cheeks. Which would be a rather concerning – though not all that uncommon – sight if not for one simple fact: she is smiling. Not widely or anything. Just a bit, her cute little lips trembling and twitching upwards at the corners.

“Everythin’ alright o’er there?” Beryl’s concerned voice calls out from the kitchen, sound slightly slurred as if... as if she is distracted by something. Just what is that Elf doing with their new pet slime...?

“Ugh, yes!” Thea shouts back. “The little rabbit just read something that made her squeak!”

Adeline’s big hazel eyes jump up from her letters. A look of surprise spreads across her face as she only now seems to notice that pretty much everyone else is already here with her. “I-I-I...! B-birthd-day wishes!”

Krvavy perks up, immediately recognizing that as a hasty attempt at an explanation. “Oh!” She straightens up in her seat, lifting her chin up from its place atop Inanna’s head, before – “Oh.” Her excitement falters and is quickly replaced with worry. “Did we... miss that...?”

The bunny-mouse girl doesn’t answer right away. Her mouth opens and closes a couple times before she finally blurts something out. “It’s on th-the ninth of H-home’s Harv-est...!”

“Do not look at me for answers!” Thea huffs out as the Drakling looks to her for answers. “I do not even know what month it is right now!”

Which is quite unfortunate. Because Thea is the only Human here. And considering that Halfling’s are essentially a client race to Humanity... it is safe to assume that they use the same calendar, with the same names and all. So if this bratty girl can’t explain what Adeline is talking about, the adorable girl will have to do that herself. Which is easier said than done...

“Mm. Judging by how long it has been since the Midyear Solstice... we are near the end of the ninth month right now. Which I believe the Humans, and the races close to them, call... ‘Clear Skies’, correct? Or at least it should translate to that.”

Thea presses her lips together into a delightfully stern pout. “Yes. That... is right.” The girl furrows her brow as she very, very cautiously pushes a piece across the board. It took her a while to think that move through.

Krvavy softly exhales. Of course. She should’ve known that Inanna would have the answer.

“So this ‘Harvest’ month should be the next one, yes?” The Dwarf’s question gets a nod from both brat and bunny-mouse girl. “Mm...” That hum is almost a moan. The kneading massage of her titanic tit is... not quite enough to crack the composure of this calm and collected shortstack. “Adeline’s birthday would then be... in eleven days. With the first of those being tomorrow, of course.”

Relief washes over the barbarian. She wouldn’t want to miss even a single one of her girls’ birthdays. Though... has that...?

“Oooh~! We should do somethin’ ta celebrate it~!”

Eeeeiiep!” Adeline squeaks and dives down into her seat, hiding beneath the lip of the dinner table. That adorable Halfling gets flustered and embarrassed whenever she is even close to being the center of attention, so just the thought of having a whole day all about her and her alone is clearly too much for the poor girl to handle.

⟨♪♪♪⟩ Warm feelings of joy and happiness flow through the connection of Krvavy’s soul, calming Adeline quite a bit. And also leaving her rather confused. That bottom-heavy blonde hasn’t exactly been paying attention to everything else going on around her, so she has no idea where that warmth is coming from or why she is even feeling it.

“Sorry sweetie...” A gentle and apologetic smile fills the Dryad’s face as she leans over the dividing counter. A faintly jiggling mass of purple-blue goo is perched quite comfortably on her shoulder, oozing over her caramel coloured skin. “It doesn’t ‘ave ta be anythin’ big. Just a nice meal and some cuddlin’. Does tha’ sound good ta ya?”

Eeeeieeiiiiee...

Krvavy gives her Dwarf’s mountain of a boob one last squeeze before very reluctantly pulling away from that amazing shortstack. Her chair barely makes a sound as it slides back across the smooth stone floor.

Eeeiip!” Adeline jolts upright as a pair of black scaled hands grab onto her wide hips, lifting her into the air and pulling her into a hug.

“Come on, don’t be shy~.” The barbarian gives her adorable bunny-mouse girl a squeeze, smiling widely as that draws out a slight squeak. “We have to celebrate your birthday~.” Krvavy carefully reclaims the seat she gave up some time ago – just before leaving to learn about that secret slime – and of course she brings the bottom-heavy blonde back into her lap as she does so.

“B-bb-bu-but...!”

Shhhh~...” A single, comparatively huge, finger presses down over the tiny Halfling’s cute little lips. “Don’t worry... It won’t be anything too big. Not unless you want it to be...?”

A bit of panic fills Adeline’s already rather wide eyes. Her whole body, short and small as it is, trembles and shakes with nervous anxiety. Which saves her the need to stutter out an answer to that question, because it is very obvious what she would (try to) say.

“Alright.” One of Krvavy’s hands slowly trails up Adeline’s back, giving the girl a much nicer reason to shudder, as the other keeps hold of those wonderfully wide hips. A certain fur-tipped tail coils around the Drakling’s wrist as her fingers gently stroke across soft, olive skin... so close to a rather plush rear... “How about we just have some cake, or some other sweet dessert? Nothing complicated or flashy. Simple, but still special. A chance for all of us to show how much we love you.”

The Halfling audibly gulps and, after just a bit of hesitation, nods her head.

Krvavy’s heart flutters as she leans in and nuzzles into her little mouse’s dark-blonde hair. She slowly breathes in, inhaling Adeline’s scent. The adorable girl’s hair smells... almost like vanilla. Faint enough that it could just be her imagination.

Peace and happiness fills Krvavy’s very being as she slowly closes her eyes. The near-overwhelming affection she feels for this cute girl that she is lucky enough to call her own only grows as Adeline timidly returns her cuddling embrace, little arms failing to fully wrap around her bare chest.

⟨♥♥♥⟩ Warm, fuzzy feelings pulse through the souls of nearly everyone present, washing over them like waves calmly lapping at the shore. Tender love, pure and wholesome, emanates from the purple-blue slime as she jiggles and dances atop the Dryad’s shoulder, rhythmically swaying side to side.

Adeline tenses slightly as that innocent love flows over her. Those feeling are quite noticeably not her own, even if she shares them, which is a bit baffling to her. But the tiny blonde doesn’t let that confusion linger for long. She is held in the strong arms of her love. She is safe, and there is no reason to worry.

Mhhhmmh~...” A long, happy hum rumbles from deep within the Drakling’s chest. She lazily opens her eyes and trails her gaze across the room. Khalia is still cuddling with Thea, Inanna is still sitting next to those two waiting to take her turn, and Beryl is still leaning over the dividing counter with Lynn clinging onto her body.

This would be better if those wonderful women – and the slime, because why not? – were closer. Within arms reach. But... Krvavy is enjoying this moment all the same.

Which makes her regret having to speak up. “There aren’t any other birthdays that we missed, are there?” She asks, voicing the very mild concern that she can’t quite put aside.

Thea is just barely able to shrug within the Were-Beast’s inescapable embrace. “Who knows when this clingy creature was born.” She fails to glare at the woman whose chin is resting atop her head. “But we have not missed my birthday. It is on the fourteenth day of Fading Frost, near to the official end of winter.”

“That is the second month in the year, my Ushumgal.” Inanna helpfully adds.

The barbarian blinks. The smile playing at her lips grows wider and brighter as she stares straight at the first girl to become her fiancée. Of all the days for her lusty little loveslave to be born on... it just had to be Valentines day, huh~?

Thea glances up from the increasingly barren board. Her brow furrows and her face scrunches into a suspicious scowl as she meets Krvavy’s teasing gaze. “Why are you looking at me like that?” The bratty girl demands to know.

“Mm.” Inanna saves Krvavy the need to explain herself. Not that that would take much effort, but it would bring back memories of her life as Leanna, which... has a very high chance of spoiling her good mood. “I was born on the nineteenth day of the seventh month. I believe that Human’s call it ‘Sun’s Height’?”

The silver-blonde noble girl’s attention snaps towards the Dwarf. “Seriously?!” She incredulously breathes out. “That is four days after Midyear! And you are only mentioning this now?!”

“Yes.” The busty shortstack plainly replies. “I did not feel like it was particularly relevant at the time, as we had just celebrated the Midyear with a feast. Having another, smaller, celebration so soon after would have been redundant. Additionally, both Beryl and Krvavy departed for Raseyne two days prior to that date, on the seventeenth. Even if the rest of you would have insisted on celebrating it, not everyone would have been around to do so.”

“Ach,” Beryl pinches the bridge of her nose and softly exhales. “We could’a put tha’ off a couple days if we ‘ad known about it. Or at least done somethin’ fer ya before we left. But...” the tomboy faintly grimaces. “Ah’m not really one ta scold ya fer this. Because Ah might be in the same boat ‘ere too.”

Krvavy tilts her head to the side, barely bumping her lower left horn into the loose bun that Adeline’s hair has been tied up into. “What do you mean?” She asks, arms slowly surrounding more and more of the sweet little bunny-mouse sitting in her lap, utterly engulfing that girl in her embrace.

“Well...” The tanned tomboy hesitates slightly, looking a little embarrassed with herself. “Ah think we missed my birthday too.”

Thea stifles a sigh. “You think?”

Beryl spares the bratty noble girl a brief glance. “Aye. Ah’m not quite sure when Ah was born. Knowin’ tha’ exact date is... not somethin’ my people really bother wit’. Maybe when we’re lil’ sprouts, but once we grow up? We usually just go off o’ the seasons. The actual ones, not simply wha’ the land around us may be locked inta. And fer me... Tha’d be spring. Rather late inta spring, at tha’. Maybe... maybe even the last week...?”

“Mmm...” Inanna hums rather thoughtfully as she calmly watches Thea take one of her pieces off the board. Only to return the favour with her next move, making a much better trade than that brat. “You had already been in Krvavy’s possession for approximately a month by the time she acquired me, yes?” The Dwarf looks up from the game that she is so decisively winning just in time to see Beryl nod. “Then yes, we did miss your birthday. Because I first stepped into our home a week and two days before the official end of spring. So even if your estimate is off, your birthday would have passed after you had met Krvavy, provided that it was not, in fact, in the first half of the season.”

“Ach.” A rather disappointed look fills the Dryad’s face, twisting her green lips down into a frown. “Ah don’t care much fer celebratin’ my own birthday, but... Tha’ would’a been a chance ta get pampered by our dearest love...”

“Like that lewd lizard needs an excuse to do that!” Thea huffs and rolls her eyes. The fact that she only has a couple pieces left on the board doesn’t seem to bother her too much. The girl knew she wasn’t winning this.

“M-m-m-mine!” Adeline shakily and suddenly shouts out. “W-we can sh-sh-shar-are m-mi-mine!”

“Aww, sweetie, we don’t ‘ave ta. Tha’ should be a special day all about y–” Beryl’s gentle voice abruptly cuts off as she meets the Halfling’s wide, pleading eyes. “Ah suppose it wouldn’t ‘urt ta share just this once...”

“Beryl, how do you feel about the tenth day of the fifth month?” Inanna idly and abruptly asks.

“Huh?” The former Wood Elf woman quirks her brow and looks thoroughly confused by that sudden, and seemingly unrelated, question.

“If you do not know the day you were born, then we should pick one to celebrate it next year and all that come after. The date I proposed is within the final week of spring, thus it fits within your estimate. And ten is also a good, round number.”

The Dryad takes a moment to consider that... before ultimately shrugging. “Alrighty. Tha’ is a nice month, when the lilybells begin ta blossom. Wha’ do ya Human’s call it? Somethin’... somethin’ about growth, aye?”

“Hmph. Yes.” Thea carelessly slides a piece across the board, before looking lover at that tomboy for the first time since this conversation began. “It is Steady Growt–” Her soft-blue eyes narrow rather judgmentally as she abruptly cuts herself off. “What are you doing with that thing?”

Beryl leans her head to the side, squishing her caramel coloured cheek and her long Elvish ear against the purple-blue blob still sitting atop her shoulder. Which seems to remind her of that slime’s presence. “Oh, Lynn? Just lettin’ ‘er perch ‘ere. She’s not as ‘eavy as ya’d think.”

The silver-blonde brat looks less than impressed with that answer.

“Ach, come on. She’s no wild beast. Lynn ‘ere is pretty well behaved. Easily the second best pet Ah’ve ever owned, only fallin’ behind our precious puppy~.”

Khalia grins widely at that praise, her shaggy tail flicking back and forth as she tightens her hug just a bit more, drawing an uncomfortable groan from the brat trapped in her embrace.

“Now, now. Don’t give me tha’ look~. Ya just need ta get ta know ‘er better~. So ‘ere,” Beryl vaults over the dividing counter yet again, “ya should ‘old onta ‘er fer a bit~. And maybe try ta give ‘er some orders too? Though tha’ can wait a little bit longer.”

Thea’s upper lips curls in disgust as she, completely against her will, gets given a happily wiggling and jiggling purple-blue blob.

⟨♪♪♪⟩ Happy, singsong chimes tinkle through the connection of Krvavy’s soul as Lynn more or less joins the group hug between brat and Were-Beast. ⟨♥♥♥⟩ Warmth and affection flows from that slime as a large paw-like hand sinks into her mass. ⟨♪♪♪⟩

“Ugh, can you not see that I am busy...?”

“Busy losin’? Aye, Ah can see tha’~. My fellow fiancée, ‘ave ya considered concedin’~?”

“Hmph...!” The bratty girl simply huffs as Beryl invades her personal space, a pair of pert breasts capped with green nipples nearly squishing into her cheek.

A gentle smile fills Krvavy’s face as she lovingly gazes down at the bottom-heavy blonde held so securely in her own embrace. Her heart flutters happily. Without much thought, she grabs one of the many unopened letters still sitting on the table – Adeline has barely made it even halfway through that stack of mail – and hands it to her Halfling.

“Th-thank you...” Adeline softly breathes out, fingers trembling as she carefully opens the envelope, pulling out a folded piece of paper. At the same time, her fur-tipped tail twitches and slowly coils back around Krvavy’s wrist.

Love wells up within the Drakling’s heart as she closes her eyes and relaxes, wishing that this moment would never end.
