Alicia as his maid

"Hmmm, you clean my house as a maid?" She reels back at the idea, shudders, but agrees, not like there will be a difference winning bet for me anyway. We decided on a week-long term, that way we could easily unfuck things the other had screwed up, but long enough for me to notice a difference.

They swapped places, acounts and emails. It isn't like the company had approved this. Sitting at Alicia's desk, I continue my day. Most of the emails I get back are dismissive of my questions, answers and basically talked over me like I wasn't there. But that might be a residual because I just got access to her account.

During lunch, I eat my brought lunch on the cycling machines in the company park. Gotta love them corporate bulshit benifits. Due to my frustration this morning, I missed Alicia walking up to me.

"So how is it going?"

"Fine, they are dismissing my opinions, but I just got access to the account. This shows nothing." I say almost like a little child who can see the writing on the wall.

"You keep thinking that, buddy. If you need help picking out a dresses we can go shopping this weekend." She says, blowing a kiss at me. Why did I deserve this? Why? Did I ever harass or dismiss her? No... Nooo... absolutely not. Yeah, this is just a bulshit thing. I keep cycling as I am stuck in my head.

Nicole, the flat chested flat assed could pass for a guy if her name didn't tip you off, brunette, from HR aproaches. "Good that you are working out, looking out for your health, but you have been here for the entire lunch break and some extra time. Not that I will report you. You seem to be needing to think something over. Want to tell me what it is?"

Noooo, HR is the last place that should know about this. "Just some family issues, my grandmother is alone and lives a bit away, so I am thinking of how I can best see her more."

"Video call?"

"Nope, she is nigh incapable of operating screens and computers. learned no interest in it anyway. And I don't think it is an option for me to go to Friesland frequently."

"Yeah, I wouldn't want to either. At least it is drivable. But still, the entire country is 3 hours."

"Best wishes, but maybe restarting work can get your mind off it for a moment?" She questions.

"Sure, I say, heading back." No harm, no foul. Grandma is having more and more health issues it is a serious concern. Especially cause she lives in Friesland and none of my family does. I will visit this weekend.

Heading back in, I sit back at Alicia's desk. No useful answers. How does she do this? I look through her emails, they are damm inefficiënt single questions, leading the idiot to the answer so he feels like it was his idea... is this what she has to do? Part of me doesn't want to admit I can't do this for a week. But I suppose that is part of the learning experience, isn't it?

By the end of the day, I managed to accomplish what I normally would in a morning, received 3 suggestive proposals, and worst of all, a DICK PIC. I double-check with Alicia what to do with those last 4. "Ignore and continue. If you speak up against them, they will never buy from us. I usually forward a copy to HR for safety with the text 'Just received this. Please give guidance on how to respond.' Most say ignore the picture, you might get a response for. Then send that with both our and their companies' HR CC'ed. It suck,s buit'sis reality. All of them are from more male-dominated places where women are property." She shrugs. As she leaves my workspace. I continue until six. That way, I can have Friday off. But that hour passes quickly with these nothing emails, figuring out how to best stroke the rgos of these pricks.
