Venting a rotten love life

"Being a quote Hero." I sat transfixed as she seemed to slump into her chair. "What a mistake that was. At first it didn't really matter, as I was more concerned with keeping my father locked in Tarturus where he belonged, but after that one time...." My concern was heightened as she sighed sadly for some reason. "Miss Rachel?" She glanced towards me before taking another sip of the bottle of tea in her hand. "I had just turned seventeen, and I thought that....well.... His name was Dante." Gears started to turn in my head as I began to piece together what I assumed was her problem. "I met him at this record store we would go to 'hang out'."

Jutting her arms out, and slightly startling me for a moment, she stretched out the muscles in her back. I couldn't help but gulp slightly as she unintentionally gave me a little show, as those rather large and seemingly unencumbered breasts strained against her leotard. I wasn't sure if she noticed me looking or not, but she continued on like nothing had happened. "He was sort of like you." I started blinking in surprise before pointing at my chest. "Me?" She gave a small nod. "Uh-hm. Tall, dark haired and kind of broody." She took a second to brush one of those feather soft bangs out of her face and her cowl slipped of slightly. God was she beautiful. "We began talking, and after a while started dating."

"I'm guessing something went wrong?" She gave another nod. "The media for one." She gazed down to her hands. "We couldn't go anywhere, they would hound us endlessly. That wasn't the worst though." A droplet of clear liquid hit the bottle. "W-What was the worst?" I silently began to pray that she wouldn't cry anymore. "I found him making out with that slutty alien whore Starfire!!" She gave me a hard but watery glare and I felt my hands grip the armrests of the chair like a vice. "I couldn't take it anymore. No privacy, no social life and no friends..."

This didn't seem right to me. Raven was no social butterfly, but I was sure that she was supposed to be friends with the Titans. "Well....maybe not the last part. She did help me leave. " I was so lost in thought about her story, and just who 'she was that I didn't hear her move from her seat. "Thank you for letting me vent Johnny." The gentle touch of her fingers as she combed through my hair and the soft almost feather like touch of her lips on my cheek felt like fire on my skin, I couldn't breath, move or say a word. "I saw you peak by the way."
